The room was clean (I always pull back sheets & bed pads. I’m not as interested in the esthetics as much as the cleanliness & courtesy & professionalism of the staff. Enjoyed my stay & felt comfortable with my room

Took a long time for clerk to show up at front desk so I could check in. Toilet too short. Also too close to sink so toilet paper is in your armpit. Dispensers in shower positioned so I didn’t fit under the shower head without bruising an arm.

This is a budget, chain hotel that's located near the main highway--so no real surprises that it wasn't fabulous! :) We had a view of a power plant/facility next door. Anyway, it's fine and the staff were very helpful. Note that all the cheaper chain hotels seem to be grouped right in that area. (It might be more satisfying to check into places more in the small downtown area?)

Renovation of the bathroom left a lot to be desired, no place to put your things, towels are stored on the floor and the toilet is 2 ft off the floor. When you turn on the water faucet the water goes all over the sink over the edge and all over the toilet paper the faucet is too close

Other than beds and breakfast, good.
Bed were not thay comfortable! There was no real protein in the breakfast provided. Shout out to Matt during check-in, friendliest check-in host I have encountered.

A nice surprise after a long day of driving!
i travel through Kearney at least 4 times a year going from Colorado to Michigan and back. This was my first time staying at the Microtel in Kearney. What a lovely experience. Despite being in the middle of a renovation, the facility was clean and definitely upgraded. From the time I checked in until I left my key at the desk checking out, the staff members were friendly, courteous, and made me feel like I was a family member coming home for a visit. Superb! The room was very nicely decorated, clean, and everything appeared new. My only complaint, and it is really a personal thing, I wasn't real happy with the placement of the bath towels on the little shelf beneath the sink. It wasn't convenient to get to before or after taking a shower. There were a couple of hooks to hang them on close to the bathtub but again, lots of water dripping off you when you reached out to get one. Other than that, I loved my stay and will definitely recommend this place to family and friends and will return in the future. Thank you for a good night's rest.
