This property was perfect for our family vacation. My husband and I were able to work, and we had our adult children and their families visiting us throughout. The home is great for multi families, it has a fully stocked kitchen upstairs and one downstairs, and an outdoor kitchen. The house is very well equipped with anything you might need for a longer stay. It is very clean and well maintained. We have requested additional weekly cleaning during our stay. The cleaning crew, pool guy and landscaping team were very respectful and discreet as they did their maintenance. Aesthetics and functionality as well as quality of household items and furniture are important to us, and we realized this has it all. We felt just like home. The property is fully gated around, which made it easy for Jace, our 5-year-old poodle, to feel right at home and accommodate very fast.
It is conveniently located within walking distance of a park and a coffee shop. We would walk over to Baby’s coffee each morning to get our coffee after watching spectacular sunrises from the backyard. There are several indoor and outdoor entertainment areas, where our large family was able to stay together but also break out in smaller groups. We used both the 2 indoor and the 2 outdoor dining areas, and the additional tiki hut where we spent most evenings enjoying the ocean breeze. The landscaping is very unique and well taken care of, giving a tropical vibe to the outdoors. We also enjoyed picking tropical fruits, the mangos were in season, we had them every day. If fishing is your thing, this is the place to stay! My husband and grandkids were fishing off the dock every day and even caught a few grouper, which made delicious tacos. We were only about 15 min from Key West, so it was easy to go out and explore the town. The neighborhood is quiet, so we enjoyed peaceful evenings at home on the back patio and pool . There are multiple seating areas outdoors with lounge chaises. Pool is shaded in the afternoon, so we were able to enjoy beautiful evenings in the large, tropical backyard. Our kids loved kayaking around the island and exploring the area on water. The main attraction was a sandbar located across the water, only minutes away by kayak or paddleboard. We regretted not renting a boat sooner as we had a great week of boating from the house to both Atlantic and gulf side. The host, Cristian, was very responsive and answered all our questions. We will definitely return!
