  • Ma'alaea Surf, Unit F6 is a townhouse unit situated on the second floor offering guest total privacy. With the latest in contemporary upgrades, this gorgeous unit features a fully furnished modern kitchen and the convenience of a second bedroom and bath. It features central AC, Wi-Fi, TV, two outdoor pools, tennis, pickleball courts, convenient parking, BBQ areas and washer/dryers onsite located in guest laundry rooms on property.

    Relax and enjoy the ocean views and Maui's beautiful sunsets from your spacious private patio (lanai). The maximum occupancy allowed in this unit is six. All units at Maalaea Surf are non-smoking.

    Our property is NOT impacted by the recent news regarding potential short-term rental (STR) restrictions in Maui. Because we are zoned as a hotel property, we are exempt from the County of Maui's proposed STR regulations.

Beautiful setting

This was a great place. Downstair bedroom was a little deceiving with pictures.. thought there was at least a full bed and twin but it only had two twins ..we made do thanks to Target! Great place to make memories with the grandkids.. easy walks on the beach!

We were pleasantly surprised to see the cleaning service during our stay as well. The perfect location to all of our sightseeing and family visit adventures. Extremely convenient to the airport, restaurants, coffee shops, beaches and shopping. We would definitely stay here again!

Also played pickleball and shuffle board daily. The ocean in this area is pretty calm with smaller waves. It was perfect and we will probably book again the next time we are in Maui! The communication was on point with the management team for sure too! I highly recommend this place for your next vacay.

It was quiet, but close to lots of things and easy to get anywhere on the island. We watched the sunrise on Haleakala, drove the road to Hana, went snorkeling in three different gorgeous coves and just chilled by the beach under the giant tree on the condo property. The only thing I would have liked to be different would be that the downstairs bedroom would have a king bed instead of twins.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Took my mom for her 70th birthday and we had such a wonderful, relaxing time! Condo was well stocked with beach and kitchen items. It even had a Keurig! Bathrooms were very nicely updated, the upstairs bedroom was very comfortable. We liked the furnishings and the grounds are A+! Loved walking the property, smelling the flowers, enjoying the pool and beach! Minor list of complaints: slider and screen doors were very hard to open/close, the carpet in the main area was stained, the shade and one of the lamps in the downstairs bedroom could use some work. However, I'd stay there again in a heartbeat. Great, great place!

They have everything you need to cook and a smoothie blender that worked well. Had boogie boards, snorkels, cooler and beach towels. This is simple but there are lots of hooks to hang towels, swimsuits, bags, etc. the lanai is glorious especially in the morning. We loved the location of this resort being right across from the bakery and ululani’s and that it is central to a lot of different locations in Maui! My only complaints are that is is a little windier but that is welcome when it is so hot outside and you can’t see the sunset on the ocean. Otherwise this is a wonderful place to stay and I would highly recommend it!

Best place in Maui!

We enjoyed our stay at Megan's condo so much. Great location, very nice and clean. Beautiful sunsets from the balcony. Everything was perfect. Highest recommendation! If we come back to Maui we will definitely choose this condo again. Big thanks to Megan for everything!

Amazing!

Just an absolutely perfect location! Loved the view and the farmers market was within walking distance. Kihei was close by for groceries. So easy to drive anywhere on the island from this spot. Would highly recommend this rental!!!

Great location and strong value

Clean, spacious condo which was very comfortable for our party of 6 (2 adults, 4 kids). We appreciated that the kitchen had all flatware, dishes, cookware, etc. to fully utilize the kitchen. Also really appreciated and used the 200 mbps Internet download speed. Laundry is right downstairs which is a big plus. The condo is very conveniently located to get wherever you want to go on the island (especially Ululani’s Shaved Ice!). Our only negatives are with the resort itself: no shade or umbrellas at the pool, and no hot tub.

A quiet escape

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely loved our stay at Ma’alaea Resort. The pictures on the website do not do justice to the quiet paradise that we got to experience for a week. The rest of Maui was jam packed with people but our beach and resort were like a private getaway from the chaos. The pool was rarely occupied and the beach looked deserted compared to the rest of the island. This was such a relief to come home to after sight seeing on most days. The condo itself was in good condition and everything was very comfortable. We were happy to see some extra supplies like a cooler, beach chairs, etc. Our only complaint with the property was that as the afternoon wind picked up, our sliding glass door would frequently make a loud banging noise as it is a little loose on the sliders. I was afraid that it may shatter on a big gust. The staff were all amazing and we were even able to get checked in several hours early since we arrived in the morning. As we toured the island and saw the huge, expensive (and packed) resorts, we were so thankful to stay here.

Wonderful Stay

This is a comfy condo with great decor in a fabulous location. The view is stunning. We loved waking up to the sound of the ocean every morning and relaxing to it in the evenings. Kihei is centrally located with tons of restaurants nearby. Megan was a responsive host who offers lots of sightseeing suggestions in her Welcome book. Loved that beach chairs and an umbrella were included in the beach supply closet. We really hope we get a chance to stay here again in the future.

Wonderful place to stay in Maui, both inside the condo and the grounds!

We had a wonderful time at this condo in Kihei, Maui. The view of the pool and ocean is spectacular. The inside is nicely decorated with new appliances and furniture. The owner does a great job providing everyday essentials! The grounds are always clean and well maintained. The pool is a great place to hang out and never too crowded. We also had fun playing shuffleboard. The barbecues are clean and worked well. The beach is a nice place to walk in the morning or at sunset and is a great place for swimming and kayaking. The condo was centrally located, be sure to try the bakery and shaved ice across the street. It was the perfect place to come back and relax after a busy day sightseeing!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: love the beach proximity. condo was spacious with everything we needed. Even noticed a box of sunscreen in the pantry. Pool is spacious. A/C kept us cool from the outside temps. Property is maintained beautifully. Office staff was friendly, responsive, and accommodating to our requests. Will stay again!
