Lovely Log Cabin
Cozy cabin in the woods is well appointed in a quiet area just out of town. Great fireplace with lots of split wood to keep warm. Nice kitchen with plenty of appliances. Comfortable beds. Great hot tub. Shanna is a great host and communicator. Highly recommend. Thanks 🙏

We had a fantastic experience at Shanna’s property. Totally relaxing with the Saint Mary’s River in the background. The folks in the neighborhood were welcoming and friendly. This is a great place for a golf holiday or a quiet family holiday

Wonderful Family Retreat
This beautiful cabin was a perfect meeting place for our family group. Six adults all slept comfortably. Great location for our active family of bikers, swimmers, and trail runners. We would definitely book this property again if we were to return to the Kimberley area. We truly appreciated the graciousness of the hosts.

Perfect for family vacation
Great property with everything needed for family vacation. Location is short walk to playground and river where there are natural pools for swimming. St. Mary’s Lake is 15 min away for paddle boarding adventures. Short drive into town and three golf courses in area. Hosts are very accommodating and we would stay there again.

Quite Escape
We throughly enjoy our stay at the Log Cabin! The home itself was super clean and thoughtfully decorated. It was bliss sitting on the balcony basking in the sun and catching glimpses of the hummingbirds. My son enjoyed the hot tub in the quiet back area. The pinnacle of staying here was the opportunity to explore the hiking trails close to the cabin. There is an abundance of great hikes from walking down to the river to exploring the hillsides. Highly recommend this property to families wishing to stay in the Kimberley area.

Great Golf Getaway
Our group booked for a golf getaway on May long weekend. The cabin was beautiful and the hosts went above and beyond when we had issues with the BBQ by replacing it right away. The neighbour hood was nice and quiet, great for relaxing after a day of golf. 10/10 would recommend to anybody looking for a weekend away!

I find it selfishly challenging to leave a review that demonstrates how much I love this place! If I tell you how wonderful it is, it’s always going to be booked!!! The host is amazing. The property is amazing, the extra little details that welcome you are phenomenal! I encourage you not to book it, because I want to keep this hidden gem to myself! HAHAHA! Relaxing Stay
Came to Kimberley with another retired couple after staying in Canmore a few days and seeing Banff National Park. Cabin was clean, cozy and nicely supplied with towels, bedding and plenty of kitchen necessities. We saw families of deer almost daily. Drove to nearby lake surrounded with beautiful mountains. Enjoyed our stay.

Perfect place to relax after a long day
We came for a wedding and after long busy day this property was so perfect to come back to and just chill whether it be on the front deck, in the house or even a nice relaxing soak in the hot tub!!! Would definitely stay again

The Althouse cabin was beautiful. Close to biking and hiking trails, quiet and peaceful. Everything was clean and there was lots of space. The deck was beautiful and great for outdoor dining. We had an amazing time.

Great Girls' Getaway
We were very pleased with the property for our getaway. It was well appointed with everything we needed and is in a great location with lots of interesting hiking trails and amenities nearby. We had a minor hiccup at checkin but the owner did an amazing job of getting it resolved immediately. We would not hesitate to rent here again!

Lumbering relaxation II
This was our second retreat to this lovely cabin and it gets better every time. One can feel the stress melt away as soon as you turn into the neighborhood let alone the cosy comfort of every square inch of this log cabin. Can’t wait to go back!

Lumbering Relaxation
This well appointed log cabin spares no expense on your creature comforts. The beds, the furniture, the wildlife (ok they didn’t pay for the deer but the wildlife is always present!!!) … seriously, the constantly present deer are worth the price of admission alone! The host is so attentive and kind. Pride of ownership in every detail! Be prepared to relax and enjoy!!

Great cabin, would stay here again!
We stayed here with our six kids (ages 4-12) for 12 days in July/August. We love the Kimberley area, and used the cabin as a base for many local activities (trail running, hiking, fishing, rafting, golfing, etc.). The kids enjoyed fishing in the St. Mary's river just down the road, golfing the nearby mini-golf course (also within walking distance), and the trails along the river were great for family evening walks. The hottub was great! Shanna responded to any request we had quickly and efficiently, and the bottle of wine was a nice welcome.

Beautiful riverside log home
We had a wonderful stay with our two daughters in this beautiful log home just up the hill from St Mary’s River. Lots of room, a kitchen stocked with all of the dishes and basic amenities you would need, and a large deck with amazing views. The hot tub was a great bonus, especially after some long hikes in the nature park directly across the road from this mountain community. As was the wood burning fireplace and the endless supply of firewood. Hosts were super helpful and friendly and checkin and checkout were seamless. Would rent this property again for sure!!

Beauty and tranquility
We had a great one week stay. Four adults and two kids. Rustic cabin feel with so many extras. Kitchen very well equipped. Paper towels, Kleenex, dish soap, spices....other vrbo places have shared none of these. The kids loved the bunk beds and we all enjoyed the privacy of backyard hot tub. We saw deer morning, noon and night. Area was quiet at night but lots to do in the day. Went to river, lake and falls. Played some golf. Ate one meal in Kimberley but otherwise made good use of huge bbq. Air conditioning saved us on first three days when it reached 35 degrees. Communication with owner prompt and polite. Housekeeper, Frieda, was delightful when she came and rescued us from a tiny critter that got into the dryer vent.

Amazing cabin in Kimberly
Perfect place for our annual little group get away. Host is super responsive and went above and beyond! We have stayed in this area before and hands down love this cabin the best in Kimberly. We will be back;)

Excellent Winter Escape
This amazing house in the most beautiful setting was perfect for our ski trip. We had everything we needed and the hot tub was the best part after a fun day of skiing! We would highly recommend this property.

Great location, if you are looking for a place in the woods but still close to town. The cabin was perfect for a 5 night stay for a group of 6. The hot tub was a great bonus after a long day skiing.

Honestly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had staying at a VRBO or even an Air BNB. Great place to stay, but the added touches like the complimentary wine was what puts this home a cut above the rest. Not only that, but this home was stocked with everything you would need. We didn’t need to get adhoc things like salt/pepper/flour etc. All the basics were already there. The host was also very flexible with us when we were looking to stay longer. Fantastic communication and very responsive. We loved it so much we are looking to make this a yearly stay. Thank you so much!

Beautiful wood cabin
This cabin was cute in a prefect wood like setting. Very clean, well stocked and well kept. Close to so many outdoor activities and all that the Kimberly area has to offer. The owners were great to deal with. Thanks for letting us stay.

Great memories
