« It is a nice place in a quiet cottage community. Beautiful area, easy access to walking trails right at back of property. There is a communal deck at the front entrance if you want to enjoy the view of the sunset over the bay. Also 2 chairs down on the beach that we used. Really enjoyed paddling around the bay in the kayaks that the owner made available for our use. We did have to carry the kayaks down to the water and across the road (about 100 metres) but road is not busy & speed limit is low...

« First off, the listing is not accurate - it states "5 bedrooms", it's 3 bedrooms, a sunroom and a loft. As well two bed pictures in the listing were not in the space we rented - this should be fixed. One of the "queen beds" was actually two box springs and a 2 inch foam piece - not even remotely useable. The kitchen is well equipped, but when we got there 2 of the 3 pot lights over the sink as well as the light over the stove was out-we replaced what we could. The space is large for sure, but...

« This little gem is just out of reach of town but close enough to get whats needed to enjoy being under a starry sky! Enough room outside to keep two little girls happy and room inside to just enjoy watching a movie and relaxing. There are so many different beaches to enjoy along the lake side. Highly recommend and hope more people can enjoy the cottage the way we did. »

« Just driving up the driveway to this incredible vacation home i knew we were going to have the perfect getaway. The location is ideal, with a view of Lake Huron from the front porch and coveniently situated between Port Elgin and Southampton. The house is spacious, immaculate and has all the amenities you could ask for, and then some! The outdoor extras are icing on the cake....beautiful grounds, hot tub, bbq, hammock, 2 outdoor dining areas, games to play. Just an amazing place to...
