A wonderful quiet area on a corner of a quiet intersection. If I needed to mention something some may consider a negative it would be no paved parking places.

Our stay at Maryhill was wonderful. We were greeted by our host and his sidekick Chester. We were shown around, and then to our room. We stayed in the Cottage Room. It was extremely clean and cozy. We enjoyed some Netflix with warm cozy blankets to finish off our evening. In the mornings we woke to the smell of bacon. Our hostess prepared us a delicious breakfast of homemade blueberry french toast, with amazing french press coffee. The Inn was a perfect place to relax and cuddle. Our hosts were extremely friendly, kind and helpful. We plan to visit again bext time we are in the area.

We enjoyed a wonderful one-night stay at the Maryhill Inn. Our room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The included breakfast was delicious (bacon, eggs, toast, yogurt with a yummy nut topping, and a wonderful pot of tea). Our host and hostess were excellent and we enjoyed our conversations with them. We stayed while visiting Guelph briefly for a concert at the River Run Centre.

This was our first stay at the Inn. Checkin wasn’t smooth as we arrived. Went to front door of inn and knocked and waited. Finally a small white dog appeared at the window so we waited some more. It was cold and wasn’t intuitive that we were at the correct entrance. Our room was fine but extremely warm - stuffy. No convenient areas to plug in devices for charging, no bedside lamps to read from or turn on/off from the bed, bathroom was old and towel bars,toilet tissue holder, shower rod, were all loose and unsteady. Breakfast in the morning was one option and made for each couple staying. All four couples arrived at breakfast at same Time and all had to wait for each couples breakfast (French toast, bacon ) to be prepared before theirs was then made. Very in efficient way to serve. No juice offered only coffee (tea was offer D to one coule as they didn’t take coffee was wasn’t readily available. Also the dog was present while eating in the dining room and floor was fully carpeted which leads to a feeling of not clean. Was fine for a night but will not stay again nor recommend.

This was our second visit and I can’t wait for our third! The hosts go above and beyond. The rooms, and building, and grounds are gorgeous. The meals are spectacular. Highly recommended

What a beautiful cozy inn! We were greeted by our lovely hosts who were warm, welcoming and genuinely happy to have us. The room is exceptional and exactly what a tired couple needs for a respite.

Totally loved how welcoming and friendly and cozy the atmosphere and staff were Breakfast in the morning was outstanding The only thing was the heat adjustment should have asked prior to as it's an heritage building just forgot to ask about the heating. But the room was clean. Very spacious and delightful

This stay was an absolute dream. Chester the dog was so cuddly and when you walk in you are welcomed with warmth. Perfect Christmas get away!

Fantastic place. This has been our second time and can't say enough great things. The hosts are so kind and welcoming. And the breakfast was wonderful!!! You come as guest but leave as friends. Can't wait till our next time...we have 4 more rooms to try out!

Had a great weekend. Host is great. Food was good. Room was super clean, well decorated, silent and cozy. Really old house that comes with history and character. But still has modern amenities. Lovely place to relax.

Our stay was very nice. The outside could use some clean up work, as it looked a little shabby. The room was good - comfortable bed, and lots of covers. Blinds did no work very well. The hosts were excellent. They were very friendly and the breakfast was delicious (French toast with strawberry compote).

The room was cozy and very comfortable and Kimmie went out of her way to provide my vegan husband with a tasty, nutritious vegan breakfast. The bed was comfortable and the room very clean. They also had some helpful maps of neighbouring towns of Elora and ..Fergus? A heritage home with a really nice, welcoming feel and despite the age, the air conditioning worked well and was quiet. Easy access any time of day or night. For anyone who wants lots of streaming options they provide a large screen and more streaming than we have at home.

A very cosy location,Maryville is a really nice village with a nice store just next door to the hotel . The B&B is not bad although in the pictures it looked a bit better and I can't really share the reviews that call it outstanding. For that a bit more consideration for details would be needed. Apart from the AC that was directed towards the bed and could not be turned off the main turn off was that the breakfast area was a shared living room of the owner. Just a personal feeling, perhaps many will have no issue with this.

Hello sorry some of your expectations weren’t met, remember this is a county property that requires grounds maintenance all the time, it was likely in the process during your period, with reference to the a/c the vents can be closed upon request this issue was never brought up, furthermore the living room attached to the dining is communal for guests etc, it’s not a personal space by any means, a few questions during your stay would have cleared up the misconception.Thanks Maryhill Inn
