Accueil Oceanfront avec 500 pieds carrés de pont Oceanfront!

Disposition unique-niveau supérieur dispose de 3 chambres 2 et ½ bains. Le rez-de-chaussée comprend 1 chambre avec seulement 3 marches pour entrer. Le rez-de-chaussée comprend également ½ salle de bain et 2 douches extérieures fermées. Veuillez noter qu'il y a une entrée extérieure séparée du niveau du sol au niveau supérieur.

Le niveau supérieur comprend une cuisine gastronomique avec 3 fours et beaucoup d'espace de travail. Le salon offre un bar séparé avec évier et une grande baie vitrée donnant sur l'océan et la plage. Juste à côté de la cuisine se trouve la salle à manger avec de nombreux sièges.

Il y a un ½ bain dans le couloir avec une laveuse et une sécheuse pleine grandeur. Juste à côté du couloir est la chambre # 1 avec un lit Queen et l'accès à une salle de bain privée. La chambre # 2 aura un lit superposé Pyramid (Double en bas, gigogne en dessous. La chambre # 3 est la chambre principale et est située au bord de l'océan de la maison. Il offre un lit King et a une salle de bain principale avec un bain à remous jacuzzi de taille normale.

La chambre # 4 est située au rez-de-chaussée et a un lit Queen, une vanité / évier, un micro-ondes, une cafetière et un mini réfrigérateur.

Toutes les chambres ont des ventilateurs de plafond 2 ventilateurs dans le salon / salle à manger. Profitez de beaucoup de plage 200 pieds d'accès privé. NON FUMEUR, 10 personnes. Le jour de rotation pour cette maison est samedi. Les clients doivent apporter leur propre linge de lit, serviettes, papier et savon. Les lits sont tous dotés de surmatelas, d'oreillers et de couvre-lit. Les animaux de compagnie sont facturés par chien si vous avez deux chiens, des frais supplémentaires de 250 $ s'appliquent.

  • One of the northernmost towns along the coast in North Carolina, Duck is an idyllic town on the shores of the Currituck Sound. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Amazing location and charming home

This house was absolutely perfect! The location had easy access to restaurants and stores. It was like having a private beach because of the distance to other properties! The deck was the perfect place to have coffee in the morning or relax in the evening. The home was exactly as advertised - the kitchen had everything we needed to make meals at home. We enjoyed everything about this place and will definitely book again.The host was fantastic, easy to communicate with and extremely accommodating. I highly recommend this property for couples or families!

Best OBX vacation ever!

House was right on the beach with an amazing deck overlooking the beach and ocean. Best part of every day was enjoying morning coffee pre-dawn through sunrise on the deck. Second best part of the day was cooking in the best-stocked kitchen I have ever encountered in a rental house. The downstairs room was perfect and private for visiting family members. Owner was friendly and responsive to all inquiries and requests. We would stay here again without question.

Great Vacation

The house was exactly as listed and had everything you could want or need in a vacation rental. The location was perfect. We watched dolphins from the deck almost every day. Our dog loved hanging out on the large deck and the gate kept him safe. We ate dinner on the deck several nights as the sun was setting- lovely. Terry’s house is perfect for an OBX vacation!

Great Kitty Hawk vibe!

We had a lovey stay at this property (4 adults and a dog). There are no surprises here – the house was exactly as pictured and described, was very clean, very well-equipped and consistent with the reviews. The house feels very spacious with the high ceilings and open layout, and you can enjoy the beach front view even from the couch. While it is a tad dated, the kitsch adds to the charm & fancy-free OBX beach feel. We were fortunate to have great weather and were able to fully enjoy the beach & the deck! Kitty Hawk has a great vibe, Terry was a great, responsive host & we would definitely stay here again. Things someone might want to know: • The dune is very steep. There are steps at the bottom of the house side, along with a little walkway to help with traction. You’re on your own on the seaside. While it was no issue for us, it could be quite difficult for someone with mobility issues. • As clearly stated in the description, the fourth bedroom is under the main house with a separate entrance. It may not be suitable for everyone, so keep that in mind. You have to leave the room to access the toilet & outdoor shower. I would not have wanted to stay down there alone, but that’s just me. • Proximity to the road was a worry for me but totally was not an issue. Your whole focus will be on the ocean that is right at your doorstep! The deck is spacious, solid & secure. The heavy gate latches from both sides, so no worries about kids and pets! Great time overall!

This was our second stay at this property and it was a great place for our family vacation including kids, grandparents, and a dog. We had a minor maintenance issue which the owner handled immediately. Very pleased with the experience!

Relaxing Family Getaway

We had a wonderful week at the Mermaid! The house was so cute and charming. The location was everything! The beach being so close made it so nice going back and forth to the house with our kids. Everything was nearby in terms of shopping, restaurants etc. Terry was very easy to contact and returned texts right away. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our time! Especially when the dolphins swam by!

Great stay in Kitty Hawk

We had a great time staying here. Kitchen is well equipped and there was plenty of space. Very quick walk over a dune to get to the beach and great views from the upper deck. The younger kids had a great time playing on the lower level under the deck too. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Great representation of Outer Banks - Lovely beach home in Kitty Hawk, nicely decorated with Great deck to watch the sunrise every morning. Plenty of information about local restaurants and attractions supplied by the owner. Great Stay for our first visit to the Outer Banks.

The property is just as pictured. It is very clean. We had never been to OBX, so we toured the Wright Brothers Memorial, the Corolla lighthouse, the Whalehead Mansion and did some shopping. The beach is not busy at all this time of year. The views are gorgeous. The deck is so big and nice. Terry has everything you need in the kitchen to cook.

Amazing house right on the beach!

The Mermaid is a beautiful house fully equipped with all the amenities needed for a fabulous stay in Kitty Hawk, Outerbanks. We felt truly spoiled staying here- location, views, amenities, space to relax -everything! The deck is amazing - we spent so much time relaxing and soaking up the sun via the huge, oceanfront deck! Great family friendly vacation house

House was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The deck was a great place for our kids to play in the sun when we weren't on the beach. The area below the main house is very unique and convenient with shower and bathroom when coming back from the beach. Our only difficulty was with the sizable dune between the house and the beach that made it difficult for young and elderly family members to access the beach.

Mermaid Cottage

The house has one of the best views of the ocean of any oceanfront house we have ever stayed in. Stocked well, appliances were in excellent condition, and the outside and inside of the cottage were spotless. House is bigger and brighter than photos.

The home was very clean and it was so nice being Ocean front and not having to drag all the necessities for a day at the beach across roadways. We enjoyed Beautiful views from inside the home as well as the top deck!

House is wonderful

This is probably one of our favorite houses. We loved the house and the deck , house had all the necessities you would need to cook and relax on the beach . The only thing I can say bad about the place is if we hadve had our elderly parents they wouldn’t have hot to go the the beach because of the huge sand dune. Wish they would’ve had a set up steps to get to the ocean .
