Only thing i would suggest is blackout curtains for the bedrooms. I sleep during the day . I work overnights. But we enjoyed our selves

Fantastic place with pool and beach access.
We had an awesome time at Saltaire Cottages. Great pool and access to beach. Room very clean. We loved our screened in porch. Staff was very helpful. Thanks for a fantastic trip. My wife and I took our 11 year old granddaughter and she had a blast and made a new friend too. Great memories. We’ll be back.

The property was extremely clean. It's probably one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed - so kudos to the housekeeping staff. Two of the three beds were comfortable. One of the queen mattresses needs to be replaced. Overall, the property is typical of the area. I can't imagine staying there for a week, but it served our purposes well for a weekend before the season starts. One note that I must have missed - the property is next door to a bar and restaurant. The live music (which was good) was loud. If you have small children, I could see that being a potential problem. There were also people right outside the windows fairly late into the evenings. Never felt unsafe or anything - it's just in very close proximity.

Access to the beach was great, pool was well kept up. The building itself is in the process of being refurbished so can't really rate it objectively. The onsite manager Mike is a great asset to the place as he was very responsive and cordial.

This was a quaint little place with an easy walk to the beach. Access to a nice pool and balcony to see the ocean view. The accommodations were nice and we all slept well. Would highly recommend and would love to return in the future

The place was great located right near the ocean. Was a nice quiet location as far as people respecting the facilities and family friendly too. A couple restaurants were also located close by so you could purchase lunch and not leave the beach.

Saltaire Cottages provide privacy with the advantages of a pool with great decks, barbecue, picnic tables, and beautifully maintained grounds all right across the street from the ocean. The contactless check-in process is so easy and communication was excellent. Our cottage was clean with all of home’s comfort and a very nice supply of necessary items as a welcome gift. We asked that something be adjusted and it was taken care of almost immediately. Mike and Austin were on site and always helpful and accommodating. Relaxing, but close to all the fun. This was our first trip to OBX but definitely not our last, and we will absolutely return to Saltaire.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Cottage was located directly across the street from the ocean with easy access. The cottage was definitely a little run down and had definitely been cleaned but was grungy around the edges

Loved staying at Saltaire with two teenagers. Very comfortable, amenities as advertised, easy access to the beach. Cottages can use some pest control.

A GEM.
Great experience. Located directly across from ocean access on a relatively uncrowded beach. Next door to the best burgers on the beach at Art's Place, and a couple doors down from a fancier restaurant/martini bar. I stayed in a 2BR. Main entrance was off of large private screened in porch with table and chairs. Main entrance led to kitchen/dining/living room with a couch, chair, table and chairs, full kitchen, and tv with satellite. Through that was a bedroom with two doubles, and another tv with satellite, with its own full bathroom (shower only, no tub, but that was fine for me). Past that was the "master" bedroom with a queen bed and another full bathroom (and another TV with satellite). In courtyard there is a nice pool with lots of seating, and two raised decks from which you can enjoy happy hour or a meal and get a nice view of the ocean. Shared charcoal grill is also provided. Place was clean and quiet, staff was friendly, location and amenities were great. I'd stay again.

Very comfortable and clean interior. Good location. It was a little different the way check in and out is done but did make it quick. Only bad comment I could make would be the parking. Had another guest that must’ve been staying above us that parked their vehicle where it almost blocked us from getting into our cottage. Had to walk sideways by the vehicle to get by it. I would suggest no parking beside the cottages. There was ample amount of spaces in other locations around the property. Other than that it was a great stay.

Clean, cozy cottages. Mike Rocks!!
We stayed here while visiting the Wright Brothers museum. The cottages were very clean and cozy. The site manager, Mike, was FANTASTIC! I really appreciate his help and guidance on things to do locally. There are lots of places to stay in this area but the ease of check-in/out, cleanliness and coziness of the cottages, access to the beach, Arts Place (awesome lil restaurant next door), and Mike will bring us back in the future! Thanks Saltaire Cottages!

Great for families!
Amazing place for our family of 6. Very short walk to the beach, just across the road, which we took every day. Beautiful beach, not over crowded. Property has pool which looked nice but we didn't use as we were in love with the ocean.
