« It was perfect, the pale coloured carpet was a bit of a pain we had to leave shoes and slippers down in the hall which was not convenient and also no clocks anywhere. Parking was easy and handy, and the situation of the property was lovely right by the river and a very short walk into Otley. Overall the property is great. »

« The location is ideal for visiting Harrogate, only a short walk into the city. We were at a conference in Harrogate so were out all day but retuning to this house was perfect. We loved the hotel touches such as fresh clean towels and toiletries! The interior was styled so lovely and bright, and it was great to have a supply of tea and coffee in the cupboard for when we arrived. The treats were a nice touch and so grateful for the peace and quiet as well as the free parking. Lots of nearby walks,...

« This place is a lovely barn conversion. The views are amazing and the area is so peaceful. The hosts Sophie and Al are so welcoming and friendly and they provided us with a lovely welcoming hamper. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting a few days away. »

« 10 members from 2 families had a wonderful half term break . The accommodation was very spacious as was the outside area with a heated swimming pool ,tennis court and croquet lawn and garden area .It was the perfect place to explore the surrounding area and then come back for us all to play tennis or have a swim . We were all able to relax helped by the lovely gardens . Thank you . »

« The property was a good size with all the basics you need. For a couple it's great.You can't deny that the location is amazing. A few minutes walk and you are in proper wilderness with so much wildlife about. We had some lovely walks straight from the property.You are only a short drive to the nearest village so not too isolated.We found it a brilliant base to explore Yorkshire. »

« Our main objective in visiting York was the trains! We especially enjoyed the York Minster, the wall, the Shambles & the incredible history. The Friargate location was perfect for our group of 8. Highly recommend this comfortable, beautifully decorated home. Only snag was getting a parking ticket for parking a van in the designated spot in front of the house. »

« Really lovely apartment just outside the city walls. Spotlessly clean, really comfortable and with everything you need for a great stay. Little extras including, sourdough bread, butter, preserves, milk, coffee, tea, orange juice, cereals, chocolate , wine and a treat from Betty's all made it feel really special and that you are very welcome. Communication before arrival was great, as was check in when we were helped with our bags down the steps and shown around. Anita (our host) was on holiday...
