We had an incredible stay at Maluhia Makai this past week for 5 nights, and can't wait to go back. The location is stellar - close to shops and beaches, and it's a beautiful neighborhood for morning and evening walks. Our kids (4 and 1) loved the pool and the bunk bed room, and our whole family enjoyed the outdoor/indoor living. The house is equipped with everything we needed including beach toys, pool toys, chairs, coolers, and more, and they even brought a high chair over when we asked if one was available. Thank you for an amazing stay in this beautiful home.

We absolutely loved this property. Very nice amenities in a beautiful setting. Nicely centrally located. A great house to relax in, with a great patio and pool in the backyard! The hammock was icing on the cake. Malia was great to work with! We will be staying here again!

Great stay, lots of amenities

Beautiful home, lots of space. Perfect for our larger family, and the bunk room (and the pool) was the highlight for the kids. Amazing space to cook, eat, and gather when we weren't at the beach (only 7 minutes by car), plus restaurants, grocery, and activities. Must-stay location for anyone who prefers activities at the south end of the island. Thank you for sharing this home with us!

Perfect in every way

What a perfect place for a family to stay. All rooms had king beds other than kids bunk room. We travelled with an infant and they even had a pack n play ready for us to use! The backyard with pool was absolutely beautiful and was such a quiet relaxing place to spend with family. We loved every minute and would be our first choice if we can ever get back to the island.

Beyond expectations!

This house was everything we could have wanted and more! Perfect for the six adults and two children. Close to several beaches and town. The pool was amazing and we practically lived in the outdoor area! Great fun watching the golfers, and there was actually more of a water view then we expected. We would highly recommend this host and how to come back!!

Lovely!

A beautiful house and yard in a beautiful neighborhood, easy walk to restaurants and shops along quiet streets and a flat gravel trail. I was told the fire place by the pool and tiki torches could not be used, not sure why not. Otherwise, very well equipped, plenty of towels, a terrific house and lanai, very spacious.

Fantastic Getaway and Location Location Location

This house is very well managed and maintained. It is the perfect getaway. We spent a lot of time just hanging out at the house as it was plenty of space for all of us, nine in all, to enjoy family time together. Malia and her team are amazing to work with. The house is perfectly located away from Lihue, and yet very convenient to any amenity that you need. Less than five minutes to the beach, restaurant, pharmacy, store, etc. It's a very quiet and well-kept neighborhood. We are already working on next year's dates to go back!

Awesome Getaway!

If you are looking for paradise, this is it!! The house is beautiful with amazing view of the golf course and distanced ocean. We had an amazing experience staying at this gorgeous home. The thoughtful layout design of the house allowed us to gather all together for meals and activities, but also have a “quiet”escape to our lovely rooms. This house is stunning, super clean and stocked with anything can want. The whole experience was amazing! I should mention that the sunset is also spectacular! Love the location, very close to everything. Malia is such a wonderful lady and incredibly communicative.. we all look forward to our next stay.

Amazing family vacation!

Our family of 6 adults and 2 children had a wonderful time staying at this amazing property. It was truly perfect. The views, the breeze, the pool, the pool fountain, the open floor plan, the lovely rooms, the Sonos speakers, the sliding door that opens the home to the peaceful outside, the hammock, the torches, the immaculate neighborhood and just being here together was magical. Multi Generation Tropical Getaway

The size and location of this property were perfect for our family. Having three spacious king rooms for the adults was key, and the kid cousins loved sharing the bunk bed room. The kitchen is well laid out and allowed for multiple people to prepare meals. We enjoyed using the outdoor grill and dining table. The pool and waterfall are great, and we all loved lounging in the hammock. The hosts were fantastic, and there is a great notebook to guide you through everything in the house and local area. We love Poipu and Koloa, and the house is perfectly located. We really appreciated Malia providing us with a beautiful cake for my Moms birthday, which was the day we arrived. Really above and beyond and started our trip off in a fantastic way.

FANTASTIC HOME IN KAUAI!!!!

We were fortunate enough to be the first people to enjoy the home and the owners have done an exceptional job in building the house and making it a really nice place to stay! My partner and I stayed here for a week without our kids, but this would have been a fantastic place to bring the family. Here is what you should know: Location: A short walk to the shops, restaurants and some good beaches. It's part of Kukui'ula development near Poipu. We thought it was very quiet and relaxing. The House: AWESOME! 4 bedrooms (most en-suite) with one room that is set up for kids (2 double bunkbeds). The house itself was exceptionally comfortable and really takes advantage of the indoor/outdoor living. The great room/kitchen opens up to a large covered Lanai and we spent a ton of time out there. We only used the master, but each room was well appointed with what you would need. Watching movies outdoors on the Lani was fantastic. The kitchen was well appointed and had most everything you would want if you decided to entertain. The pool: a great splash pool that was heated and exceptionally comfortable for lounging. There is also a fire table that looks wonderful, but we didn't take advantage of it. Connectivity: good internet with the ability to log into your own video/music services on the TV's or audio system (SONOS system with direct connect or airplay) The vibe: Island easy, with modern convenience. We didn't find ourselves wanting for anything and were really impressed with the decisions that the homeowners made!
