« Very enjoyable stay at in a historic building. The rooms were clean, well maintained, and traditional Japanese. There were two tatami bedrooms on the second floor, and on the fist floor a comfortable sitting area, dining room with a large table and roomy seats for six, along with a functional kitchen, washer/dryer unit, and a nice deep ofuro (Japanese style bath for soaking) with separate shower for washing. « The location is wonderful, at the side of a beautiful river and in a walking distance to the famous historic streets where you can hang out in the beautiful tranditional houses and shops. The property is new, modern and comfortable though it looks old and traditional from outside.
