« We were up at Waimarino to ski for the week with our two young children, the house was a perfect little bolt hole when weren’t on the mountain!Our only issues were that while there was a log burner and wood for it, unfortunately the wood was all rather damp and there was no way to chop any smaller kindling to even get the fire going, thank goodness for the heat pump, so we were all sorted! « So relaxing! Waterfront views during winter are just as entertaining as during the hotter months. Very cold so make the most of the heating when it snows on the other side of the lake! Make use of the walking tracks when the shower stop, there are some incredible sights along the way. Drop by the general store for a coffee and macadamia brittle! This is a very comfortable home to put your feet up and relax. »
