« We had a lovely week staying here. Although a little dated, the accommodation was clean and comfortable and beds provided a great night's sleep. The garden was large and although not enclosed was great for our older lab. Previous reviews mentioned the steps down to the front door. For clarity, there are two steps on a gravelly slope. Pour atteindre le cottage on empreinte une petite route «one way » sur 7 miles qui nous donne l’impression d’être au bout du monde. L’endroit est vraiment exceptionnel pour les amoureux de la nature. « Saraig is a hidden gem, in a lovely quiet part of the Highlands. The loch views are beyond description. Highly recommend a loch swim if you’re feeling brave (and have a wetsuit!). The house itself is full of character and with every possible home comfort. Plenty of places to visit nearby, easy to get to local amenities, restaurants etc. Top tip: if you can afford to buy a trail camera (around £50), you will capture some amazing footage of the pine martens and badgers in the garden at night!...

« We only stayed for 3 nights but enjoyed our time. We easily commuted to Skye each day for wonderful hiking, returning to a cozy home by the water. Anna was wonderful, there was an issue with the internet, we didn’t even know was a problem until she reached out with a plan to have it fixed. Before we returned from hiking she had dispatched her local contact to fix the issue. We loved the efforts Anna took to maintain the original feel of the home, while updating where necessary - best shower!!!...

« Large spacious and cosy house. Wonderful scenery around the village, the gateway to the Isle of Skye 20 minutes away, and what feels like the only chocolaterie in the whole of Scotland within walking distance. Of course, as almost everywhere in the Highlands, you should have a car with you, as public transport is not as frequent as you might be used to in cities. »

Das Zimmer mit dem großen Bett hat ein gefangenes Duschbad mit niedriger (180cm) , schmaler, angeschrägter Zugangstür. Als 2m-Meter-Mann kommt die Duschhöhe ans Limit.
