What stood out most was the host’s communication and attention to detail. From booking to checkout, everything was smooth and well organized. The host was responsive, proactive, and clearly takes pride in the property. It made the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable. This property exceeded our expectations. The home is beautifully maintained, extremely clean, and offers so much space for large groups. The private heated pool and was fantastic and we really enjoyed in this cooler weather, and the outdoor area made the stay feel like a private resort. When not in the outdoor pool, we were playing the indoor pool. HA HA !Everything from check-in to checkout was smooth and well organized. The host was attentive and easy to communicate with.If you’re looking for a peaceful location with plenty of space, privacy, and upscale touches, this is the place. Highly recommend!

Amazing weekend!

I had a fantastic stay at Ray's place. The property itself is very spacious with lots of outside space for games and has a hot tub as well. The house itself is very spacious and accommodating. We loved using the pingpong/8 ball table and the poker table. There is also ample space for everyone to sleep and hangout. The kitchen has two fridges and lots of counter room to cook and organize everything. We had five cars drive up to the house, and all of them fit comfortably in the driveway. The location of the house itself is great with a safe neighborhood and restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Our host was very accommodating and responsive, helping us with a smooth checking in and out process. Overall an amazing stay with lots to do and ample space. I would definitely recommend for future stays!

Perfect location for family staycation

Family vacation was a blast! The house was very big with a great pool and fire pit. Family enjoyed playing games. The location was perfect for our areas of interest, which were New Braunfels, Wimberley, Canyon Lake and Austin. We enjoyed meals at home and also went out locally. Really cute town. Safe and welcoming. Property owner was always available to chat. Will definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Rays is such an AMAZING host and was readily available to help us before, during, and even after our stay. A level of service and professionalism that is above and beyond what people think of when they think of VRBO. Hands down the nicest hosts you will ever encounter. House was clean, gorgeous and beautifully decorated. Beds were very comfortable. Great outdoor spa and so many amenities both indoors and outdoors. Fun extras like a gorgeous pool, games, lots of TV’s, bar-bq grill, great walking, lots of bedrooms, very spacious rooms, just to name a few. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and we enjoyed cooking together after a long time and the house really helped us to bond together in such a nice way. The home was well cared for. Loved all the extra amenities. Especially for families and kids. There was plenty to do around the area but our kids didn’t want to leave the home and kept referring to it as a “resort”. They honestly weren’t wrong. We loved every second of being here and we will not only rent this house again but if the owners have other properties, then we are automatically interested in staying there. Each of my guests agreed and if we are ever in this area again, we will be back with his properties! All and all we would give 10 out of 10 stay for us. Wish we could have stayed longer but we already had our fiight tickets booked for return but next time we will stay here longer for sure !!.

Perfect stay for large groups !!

Very memorable stay! Everything was clearly outlined from the moment we booked, till we checked out and the host and property managers were such a pleasure to interact with. They care and want to ensure you are having a five-star experience throughout. The house is so big and very spacious for our group which had kids as well as elderly. When we were returning home, Everyone was raving about this vacation home. The house was exactly as depicted in the photos and description. We had plenty of room to relax and the kitchen was well-appointed. The ping pong tables were a big hit. Superb layout! The property had four bedrooms on the second floor in addition to other bedrooms on the main floor and the majority of the group were upstairs as we had so many bedrooms with in-room TVs as well as two huge game rooms on the second floor. This is one of those good big properties which is well suited for large gatherings and the house has all the amenities that any traveler would need to make their stay enjoyable. Thought it was winter season, but we were lucky to have warm weather during our stay and we all enjoyed the Pool. The hot tub was also superb at the hot temperature !! The backyard is super lush green and our fur baby had a gala time running across. It’s located in a Quiet, serene neighborhood! Made for a memorable graduation get-together for my daughter from SMU. Thank you Rays !!! Memories for a lifetime! We will stay here again when we come back to Austin in the future !!

Fantastic stay in this large house that works well for groups of different ages. We had four generations represented with both early risers and young adults who like to stay up late at night. The house accommodated the different groups easily, with everyone’s needs and wants to be met. Owner was very accessible and helpful! Wish we had had more time to stay!

Amazing weekend stay !!

Very amazing property. It wowed us in every way. The view of the sky from backyard was truly spectacular. Clean house, and the hosts were super responsive and helpful. The property is spacious, has ample outdoor space and large clean pool and hot 8-person sap to enjoy. There were many outdoor games as well as many indoor games to keep you engaged. House is very large and and rooms are so spacious. We spent most of the weekend relaxing outside and enjoying the amazing amenities. Every room in the house was clean and comfy, and the kitchen and patio were so nice. Plenty to do on the property we never felt the need to leave. We swam, did yoga with our group, played pickleball, soccer and had the best weekend ever!! Would absolutely love to stay here again whenever we come back !

Memorable and Relaxing stay

Our recent stay at this VRBO in Austin, Texas was nothing short of exceptional. love, loved staying here, it was a truly awesome stay - stunning spacious home with great pool/ hot spa. We had some trouble with the spa heat the first night but our query was quickly answered and the issue resolved. We cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that convenience had been thoughtfully factored into every aspect of our stay. The property is ideally situated, offering an easy and stress-free commute to the airport. This made both our arrival and departure smooth and hassle-free, saving us valuable time and energy. Upon entering the home, we were immediately struck by its cleanliness. Every room was spotless and impeccably maintained. It was evident that the host takes great pride in providing a clean and comfortable space for their guests.We felt like a perfect home-away-from-home during our stay. The clean and beautiful pool and the separate hot tub, made the evening relaxing and enjoyable. One of the highlights of this VRBO is its location in a very peaceful neighborhood. All the houses are estate houses with yards more than acre plus. Lots of restaurants and grocery stores are available no more than 2-3 miles. If I ever go back to Austin, this will be on the top of my list of places to stay. Thank you host for this lovely vacation rental. Excellent communication throughout and would love to stay here again whenever we come back to Austin !

LOOK NO FURTHER !

This house is easily accessible and immaculate! When you stay somewhere away from your own home, you want it to be clean, comfy beds and furnishings comfortable with all of the comforts of home (maybe a little more if you are on vacation, so you have that vacation experience). The owner/manager communicated very well and timely from the beginning to the end of our stay, which is an aspect that we appreciate because we have rented other homes where we did not have this experience. Everything was as stated and it is even better in person. We had 11 people with two visiting. The home was very accommodating. The yard is so big that all the kids played football and games. The pool is well kept with pool towels provided and seating spaces around. The kitchen WOW what a large luxurious kitchen ---- we have a large family and enjoy eating in a lot ---- so this kitchen is very big allowing for several of us to help prepare our food. So, I would look no further as this home has the comfortable space you need and location is easy access to various locations.

Heaven near Austin

Our family had a trip to Austin and we found this “Heaven near Austin” Nice and peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the hotel zone. Plenty of outdoor backyard space and seating. House was nice and clean and well stocked kitchen. House had tonnes of games options to entertain large groups. Ray is amazing host and stayed in communication throughout the trip to make sure we had everything we needed. Very responsive to our queries and sometimes our silly queries. We enjoyed our stay very much. Weather was perfect to enjoy the outdoors and pool was the centre of attraction of our group. Indoors some of us played games of ping pong as well as learnt how to play pool on the professional 8 ft pool table. House has a huge Media room kind of, where the poker table was laid out and we had so much fun. This has been one of our best stays so far and we highly recommend this big house for large groups. Location is very central and you can access any grocery shops, medical stores, big shopping stores in just 2 miles. World famous San Marcos Outlets is just 8 miles. We could not have got this big house with so many amenities at the current price. We have recommended this to our friends and families and we are Definitely coming back next time !!

Heavenly Vacation !

What an amazing property it is and so spacious. Truly it is 5000 sq ft ! Bedrooms are so very spacious. House had everything anyone could ask for - beautiful kitchen stocked with lot of cookware, open living room, large TV's in each room, great game room (teens really enjoyed this), hot tub jacuzzi in the master bath room, 8-person outdoor hot spa, fire pit, comfortable bedding, etc, etc. It's hard to think of anything we didn't have. It was a perfect family vacation, spanning 3 generations. Outdoor pool area was the centre point of our stay and weather was very nice to enjoy the big pool. There were so many options for indoor and outdoor games that we did not wanted to leave at the end of our stay. We wanted to extend our stay, but unfortunately the house was booked by other guest next day and we can totally understand how popular this home is. We also really enjoyed the proximity to key locations in Autin and San Marcos. One of the best features was the property manager himself. We had missed to update our dog, during our reservation but host was helpful and helped us add the pet after our booking along with the applicable pet fees. I have rented houses many times through different companies, and he was the most prompt, well-informed, honest, friendliest, warm, and helpful property manager I have ever interacted. Every request or query in minutes (even seconds sometimes!). This is 100% perfect spot to entertain large groups and get together.

STAY AWAY FOR YOUR SANITY

We were welcome to dead crickets, grasshoppers and roaches within the property along with finding live roaches within the bathroom and spiders. Chipped scratched up tables and molding with the furniture falling apart. The wood flooring has gaps creating a tripping hazard. Brown patch of mold on the shower ceiling with counters when wiped left the paper towel black with dirt. The green grass lawn shown in the pictures is in need of mowing and dead. In March I told him I will be hosting my wedding reception here as the listing stated it was perfect for weddings. The week of he asks me if I have any guests and tells me that I will be charged per additional guest. Despite the property stating pet friendly he charges me per night per pet. He tacked one a large sum the week of my wedding when I obviously can’t back out. He then tells me how he kicked out some guests the week before and he can evict me if he sees on the cameras a single extra guest or if a car is parked on the street. So on my wedding day I am stressing trying to fit as many guests I can onto the driveway and having other guests park down the road. He will try to convince you to cancel your VRBO and sign a side contract with some minor discounts because you know he is totally not pocketing a good chunk of change. I will be reporting this to VRBO since I know this is a violation of the Terms he signed. Expect his listing to be removed so book at your own risk. More I want to write but character limit.

Cool Spot

Me and my girlfriends definitely enjoyed staying here. Plenty to do and some cool local bites nearby. Close enough for some fun in Austin as well. Definitely need to goldilock the beds due to some being firmer than others and bring a spare pillow if you sleep with more than one.

Lots of room

This house had all the room we needed, very spacious. Our host, Rays, was very accessible and responded to our requests or needs promptly. We had a great time and the location for us was perfect. If you have a large group this house is perfect.
