« This house is located far enough away to not be in the downtown city. The nights and mornings were quiet. Yet close enough to get to the volcano and the beach. (Note everything takes an hour or more to get to) The family enjoyed the stay. The house layout is excellent. The refrigerator, oven, stove are excellent. Important if you like to cook like we do. The gym was good. The only draw back, the pool was cold for some. I thought it was just fine but others thought it could be Heated. All in all,...

« Super host! Very communicative from start to finish. The accommodations were superb. The kids loved the pool area. We were all entertained with the outdoor living space. Everything easy and accessible in the kitchen, to allow for a lot of “at home” meal preparation. The bedrooms very comfortable, and wheelchair accessible (for my father). A gorgeous backyard garden with a strolling path for everyone, including my father. We will all be back!! »

« Words can’t express how great this property is. The check in process with Yvonne was amazing….she met us in town and we followed her to the house. When I talk about letting your soul relax, this is that kind of place. This property allowed us to fully disconnect and recharge. Nothing like the smell of fresh limes coming out of the bedrooms in the morning, hearing the monkeys call to each other, the sunrises over the valley and watching the amazing rainstorms. « We felt right at home at Villa la Jolla. The house had everything we needed for a simple, relaxing stay. We were able to cook our own meals, good internet, Smart TV, comfortable furniture - nothing too lavish - just right for us. The pool is a lovely treat. From time to time, friendly iguanas and agouti came into the yard to visit. There is a green area next to the house with beautiful bird life. It is a convenient location - a short drive into Atenas..
