We loved our visit here! The cabin was a lovely place to stay and we spent time in the Mont Tremblant pedestrian area, hiked the Green Mountain Loop, did the Treetop of the Laurentides walk, and visited the national park. Hope to come back again some day!

Gorgeous, perfect location, relaxing stay

Highly recommend this stay. Incredible price for such a beautiful home. The property is exactly as pictured. We used the wood stove and the sauna easily for cozy nights after days of skiing. The views from the windows were gorgeous. This is the perfect location for skiing, 15 minutes from Mont Tremblant. We were very comfortable, had everything we needed for a relaxing week in the mountains. Super easy check-in/checkout process, with clear communication from host. Great for 4 people. Bonus was the eco friendly, green appliances and sustainable construction of the house.

Perfect winter getaway

This was our second stay at La Khabine. We came here two years ago and loved our stay, so it was our first choice when looking for another relaxing winter getaway. Everything was as good as we remembered and continues to be the nicest rental property we've ever stayed in. The furniture, linens, cookware, and other amenities are good quality and have held up well since our last visit. It's this thoughtfulness and attention to detail that makes all the difference and sets La Khabine apart. It doesn't just look nice in photos, it's actually comfortable, well-maintained, and everything just works. It was lovely to start the day with a cup of coffee and do some yoga while the early morning sunlight filled the living room, and then spend the afternoon cozied up with a book by the woodstove. Chris and Kristine are great hosts and check-in or other communication was easy. There was a fairly heavy snowfall during our stay and the snow removal services were always prompt in clearing the deck, walkway, and driveway. We had a great second stay and will most definitely be back again!

First of all, the owners are a dream to work with - responsive, caring and kind. La Khabine was exactly as described and gave ample opportunity to relax and unwind. The home is just the right size, and the deck is super. The fit and finishes are first rate, and in most instances, luxurious. The natural surroundings are a gift - I spent several mornings stretching on the deck with birds chirping in the background and a babbling brook below - "zen". Having a truly fully stocked kitchen was a benefit. They even think of the little things like spices, reusable bags, tinfoil, etc. The little extras, like a welcome note and starter package, made us feel special. The arrival website is well done and was helpful before and during our stay. Overall, a six-star stay.

Relaxing Getaway

My husband and I booked La Khabine as a relaxing winter getaway for us and our pup, and it did not disappoint. The cabin and the property are as nice as they are in the photos. It was clean and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay, and Kristine and Chris even had a complimentary bottle of wine and some chocolate waiting in the kitchen on our arrival. The welcome guide provided was very comprehensive and answered any questions we had on where things were located or how they worked. The bed and other furniture were very comfortable, probably the best of any rental we've ever stayed in. We enjoyed using the sauna, and it was lovely to sit and read by the wood stove. Our wiener dog loved the floor to ceiling windows and being able to see the squirrels and birds outside, as well as lounging in his bed in the sunshine. It was a great stay and we'd love to come back, perhaps in the fall to enjoy the autumn colors and make more use of the large deck.

A beautiful and luxurious getaway in the woods

We booked La Khabine for an autumn girls' trip and the moment we walked in, my friends and I couldn't stop saying WOW! The living area with the 3 walls of windows took our breaths away with the beautiful light streaking in and the colorful leaves dancing in the wind. La Khabine far exceeded our expectations: we had everything that we needed and more, the check-in process was seamless, the cabin was so clean and comfortable. We felt our city stresses melt down completely and that's exactly what we hoped! Our host Kristine was so hospitable and kind. She replied to our questions quickly and checked up on us to ensure we were enjoying our stay. We were also provided with complimentary wine, chocolate and scented candles which was a very sweet touch. I'm already looking forward to coming back!

Really beautiful house with a common area looking out on the forest - feels like forest bathing. The kitchen has everything and more than you can hope for. The products and welcome gift make you feel nurtured. Everything is comfortable - the sofas, beds and deck chairs. The only thing I’d change, but this is personal preference, is having thinner pillows and some coat hooks in the entrance. The hosts were very communicative and fixed a small issue we had promptly. Note that the property itself has some small drops so kids need supervision. There is also a 50$ a day fee for a pet.

Hidden gem in the forest! Amazing view from the balcony and felt at home with all the amenities. Only wish there were walking trails within walking distance. Kristine was hospitable and attentive. Would definitely stay here again!

Zen cabin in the woods

My family and I (two boys ages 9 & 11 and a dog) had the best vacation. It’s house has everything you need and more. Fully stocked kitchen (we cook a lot), two comfortable beds, a sauna and the open concept kitchen living space overlooking the trees….! Wow. I would’ve just been happy staying at the house but it’s 15 min from tremblant and we skied, hiked and xc skied! It was so conveniently located. Exactly as pictured and our host Kristine and Chris were exceptional. They touched base initially and half way through and were so accessible. I can’t say enough and we use VRBO a lot. This was definitely my favourite:).
