Jackpot!
The house is well maintained and very comfortable. Spotless clean! The view is magnificent! Stairway to beach, which is all rock and driftwood and found many pieces of seaglass. Great location for visiting the tulip fields. Very safe area.

What a lovely VRBO. The house had everything we needed, and the location was handy to LaConner and thd tulip fields. The sunset was amazing and watching sea lion play in the water was extra special. The stairs to the beach were easily accessible, and they’ve seen a few storms, but do the trick. The beach is lovely. Others mentioned the flyboys from Whidby Air Station, but the overhead flights added to the ambiance of the stay. I love soaking in all characteristics of the location. I will definitely stay here again!

Absolutely beautiful house and location
The house has an absolutely astounding view. So nice that it's tempting to stay inside and just watch the world. The property is pristine and well decorated, and the hosts are kind and easy to talk to. This is my second visit here. I liked it so much on my first visit that I had to bring some visiting friends from out of town here. They had a blast bird watching and absolutely loved the spectacular view.

Magical!!
We loved our stay! We thoroughly enjoyed the comfort of this beautiful home and the view of the water, the islands, the sunrises and sunsets were breathtaking. Our only complaint is that we didnt have longer to stay!!!

What a beautiful spot! sunsets spectacular and great beach strolls below. The house is huge with 3 floors and separate space in walk out. I can't think of any place better for enjoying the coast and heading out to hikes

Incredible Views - Beautiful Home - Great Responsiveness
Simply wonderful - the views & property - inside & out - were fabulous. The Property Manager was supremely responsive to my few questions, and the town of La Conner was charming & offered a variety of restaurants, shops, & places to grab a drink. Combine that with the coastal - farming conveniences - we bought & prepped the freshest meals I've ever had by shopping the local farmers markets... Not "just "farm to table" - here you get sea & farm to table! The rocky beach was a beautiful walk. Great trip with my family.

Wonderful House on the water
We really enjoyed our stay there. It is great place for water sports if you follow the tide tables. House is comfortable and well equipped. And LaConner is a great small town close by.

Beautiful Sunsets…
We loved our stay and enjoyed most sitting in the front (water) side as a family watching the sunsets and lingering well into the evening. The mud flats out front were beautiful but not walkable and so kayaking was limited to high tide. Great beach combing and looking for treasures. Great central location to La Conner and Anacortes. And don’t forgot Kukatali - a gem to hike and beach walk and learn about the history of the area! Overall great spot.

anniversary get away
My husband and I just wanted a quick get away for our anniversary and we love La Conner. Quick less than 10 minute drive to La Conner. The house did not disappoint. The view was absolutely beautiful. The house was clean, comfortable, quiet and very spacious. We will keep in mind for our next family get away. 3 queen beds and 3 bathrooms. Awesome. Parking would be the only issue. Great for 1 car, 2 could squeeze but that's it. Thank you for a great stay. We will be back.

Quiet with Spectacular Views
This house was cozy, plenty of space, filled with everything from home you’d need (fully stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, etc.). The location is great, far enough from town, where it’s so peacefully quiet. But close enough to town to get groceries, eat out for breakfast and dinner, and quite close to the tulip fields as well. Friends and I traveled without the kids, so we absolutely enjoyed it!

This was one of the nicest stays I've ever had. The view was incredible. The pictures really don't do it justice. The property was in great shape and extremely comfortable. The host was a delight to deal with and made sure to follow up on every message to make sure we had what we needed.

Wonderful Thanksgiving stay
This is a fantastic place to stay! We are a family of 6 and it was comfortable. The view and access to the water is amazing. Only complaint was the parking, though we were told ahead of coming that it was small. We had to park two cars in town and shuttle. Overall it was great weekend! Thank you

We used the cabin as a hub to visit various area attractions but the best feature was sitting and relaxing by the water. Note: the tide is significant and can expose some flats at low tide.

Rate confusion
Place states sleeps 6 but price is based on per person. I never experienced a per person rate with other stays I have booked on Vrbo so didn’t think it would be an issue when another friend joined our trip just before we left, so just a heads up. Confirmation email with pdf agreement attached did not state stay is only based off 2 people. I booked many months in advance for 2 people. Didn’t realize until after the trip we would be charged. Should put that in the agreement sent via email after booking.

We hope you enjoyed your stay at Big Cedar. When booking, it clearly asks for how many people will be staying as we accommodate two people at the very reasonable rate of $295 and add more for extras. Charging the full rate for only two people seems unfair to us, therefore we take advantage of VRBO's set up to charge more as more people arrive. I did send you two messages asking you to contact me so I could explain this to you, but you never returned my emails/texts. For future guests, please note, rates are as listed - $295 for two people per night and $25 per night for each extra person. You were great guests and left this lovely property in very good shape when you checked out. We so appreciate it. Best, Mgt.

This is a lovely home, right on the waterfront. The view is spectacular, and the home is comfortable. My only suggestion would be have some comfortable outdoor seating.

Beautiful view of the water
This property was perfect for our situation. The loft does not have a door, so that would be important to know. Bathrooms were clean. May need a new vacuum. The rug in the living area had hair in it. Otherwise, we enjoyed it, we had everything we needed and had great communication. Manager is lovely and helpful.

For future guests, Kellie did not have the wedding at the house - the wedding was somewhere else, but with 3 floors, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and 2 kitchens, it worked well for a family of six, plenty of privacy but still "homey."

This house was big with plenty of space for our family to enjoy—bathrooms and bedrooms on each floor. It was a convenient base for exploring the San Juan Islands—biking, kayaking and hiking. It is in a quiet and friendly neighborhood. We’d love to come back again.

Very Relaxing
Great place to stay and relax while watching the tide roll in and out, the clouds move past, and the sun dip below Whidbey. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. Living room was perfect for sitting, playing games, and enjoying the views. Access to waterfront was great for afternoon walks. Recommend!

Spectacular location with unbelievable view!!!
Our family absolutely fell in love with this amazingly welcoming and comfortable home that is perfectly situated with unrestricted, breathtaking, front row views of the sound. Watching the sunset with the sound of gentle waves lapping at the beach and waking up for a few steps down the stairs for a walk on beach with the family was the perfect setting for wonderful memory making! My husband is dead set on trying to buy your home so we can retire here in the town of La Connor and experience the sound every day!

The property was just as beautiful as the pictures on VBRO. The only thing I could even say is that a walk out wrap around deck would be perfection but this it still is a magnificent setting as is. Would stay again if in the vicinity in the future.

This was a wonderful place to take my two sisters who were visiting from the East Coast. We enjoyed a hike up Sugarloaf, visits to Deception Pass and Sharpe Park, and a hike at Ebey's landing. The kitchen was also wonderful for preparing crab and halibut feasts!

Perfect Getaway
Two friends and I had a lovely, relaxing three-day weekend. We enjoyed each having our bedrooms and bathrooms. The views out to the water were very pretty (even when foggy) and the quiet was a real respite from the city!

The property was very nice and the scenery was spectacular. Having two living spaces was nice as it gave us some room to spread out. Note to future visitors: it was a bit tricky to get in and out in snow.

Better More Amazing than Photos Suggest!
This property is so beautiful. It was perfect for our group size. The pictures just don’t do it justice. The view is truly amazing and the nearby town is so cute. Only problem was I didn’t think the downstairs had its own thermostat so our first night was a little chilly.

What a view!!
The view from this home is stunning! We were a group of only 4 people, but there is plenty of space for more to spread out over the 3 floors. LaConner is a wonderful little town with great restaurants and plenty of shopping. We made the short drive to hike around Deception Pass and that was a highlight as well. Be sure to make LaConner and this home part of your next vacation!

Great location to relax and unwind
We really enjoyed the house and location with the waterfront view. LaConner is a cute town to visit with lots to do around the area. We did have problems with the internet but the property manager was really quick to reply. Would recommend!
