« Relaxing, quiet week. Renting the pontoon was the best decision we made. When you rent a VRBO you never know what you will run into. Below is information that I would have found helpful to know. The front of the house is a 4 season porch. It isn't very deep so it wasn't somewhere to hang out but it was great to use for our extra stuff and for coming and going! The fishing off the dock was absolutely fantastic—we caught countless sunfish along with several impressive bass, catfish, and perch. The cabin itself was charming and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed (and more).The only minor issue we encountered was the shower, which was a bit too small to use comfortably—though we made it work by using the handheld sprayer. « Amazing long weekend at Julia Lake. The cabin is just as described and the hosts are fantastic. We enjoyed coffee on the dock, kayaking, bonfires, and exploring the surrounding area. Pam and Leigh were friendly, helpful and gave great advice as to where to get a good meal, and glass of wine. We will definitely be staying at this cute and cozy cabin again and recommending others to as well. »
