« Lovely Place, quiet, really friendly staff »

« The staff were professional and friendly. The room was large and spacious but we regretted the state of the bathroom ceiling which was peeling. »

« Stunning place and great walking trails to explore. Staff were all welcoming and the food was exquisite. »

« Great staff, friendly and attentive. Amazing food, real ale, extensive wine list. Reminiscent of how hotels used to be before corporate takeovers »

« Very comfortable bed, nice big window, decent sized room with good facilities. The owner was very happy to help with fresh milk delivered and good suggestions for local food places. »

« Très bel hôtel très propre . Personnel à l’écoute. »

« Lovely stay here. Easy free parking. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Room was spotlessly clean. Easy to walk into Ashburton centre. »

« Lovely little gem. Breakfast was a nice touch. Pub on site serves food and drink. Owners nice. BUT you should have a car if you are staying here. Getting a taxi can be difficult as it is away from main town. Definitely recommend staying here. »

« Me and the wife are both disabled and because we notified the hotel at the time we booked our room we were given a room specifically designed to cater for people with disabilities.Compered to a lot of hotels that do not adapt any rooms or entrances or exits to cater for the disabled due to costs we found this such a bonus. »
