« Beautiful property in Port Carling, right on the water. Plenty of space, well furnished and equipped with kayaks and paddle boards. AC not working, oven not working, patio umbrella broken and barbecue very dirty. Couldn’t find any garbage bags or paper towels. Otherwise had a fantastic time with friends thanks to Lux Muskoka! »

« Stayed August 2025 with family of four. We found other reviews to be largely accurate. Cottage was clean, comfy, well stocked (except we never did find an ice cream scoop lol). BBQ worked, lots of activities indoors and outside, good sitting areas, great location albeit on a busy lake.It's a stretch to say it has AC. There's a portable unit in the back hall with maybe a five/six foot hose. It didn't reach let alone cool the south-facing main area. It's probably fine most times of year but...

« Annually, our multi-generational family gathers for a lake vacation. We travel from the Chicago and Seattle areas. This year was extra special, since we returned home to Muskoka where the older “we” vacationed as kids. The home offered ample room for 10 to spread out. The location was ideal for boating, hiking in Algonquin and even a quick run for groceries. Downside, the property is up For Sale. Consequentially the interior had the typical stark staging decor, while the front and backyard...

« The cottage was perfect and so cozy, we were a group of 10 and had the best time hanging out, playing games and making s'mores by the firepit and the enjoying the hot tub.Jenn & Brett are amazing hosts, they had sent us the details for check in and were communication with us t during the weekend. I would highly recommend staying at this cottage for your summer getaways!The beds were incredibly comfortable, the hosts had plenty of amenities available for our stay. »

« Love the house. It was clean and well equipped. It provided towels, toilet paper etc. It had barbecue machine. There was a lot of space to park. Quiet neighborhood. 10 mins drive to Santa village and 5 mins drive to Muskoka cruise. Great family stay. »
