This booking was perfect. I was traveling with my daughter, and I wanted a location where we could easily access the beach. This location went above and beyond. We were steps from the beach, the view from the lanai is unbelievable, and we were close to all excursions and activities. We spent about 50% of our days out and about on excursions, and 50% of the time at the property on the beach relaxing. I also loved that the room had enough accessories for us to make a few basic meals. I had no intention of cooking, but to keep costs down and to allow us days were we didn’t have to leave the resort, we got a few items like frozen pancakes, sandwiches, and lots of different beverages. It was a full-size fridge so everything was able to be easily accommodated. I also have to commend the property owner, because we visited Maui less than three days after they experienced record rainfall and flooding. She answered all of my questions as we went along, very promptly and in detail. The property was pristine, in spite of the major storms they had experienced days earlier. I was really impressed. This vacation was absolutely the best, this location was absolutely the best, and I will definitely book this property again. We are hoping to make this an annual trip!

We had a great stay. The view is amazing, the pool and hot tub were excellent, and the resort property was nice. The only issues were the TV had incorrect directions, there was a significant leak at the front window (though it happened when there was a huge kona storm) and we were aware that we would need to pay for parking, but at check in we were surprised to be told that we were not guaranteed parking ( we did end up with parking). Overall, an enjoyable place to stay.

The place was exactly as shown on VRBO. Great ocean views from the 6th floor, very clean room and the front desk staff is the best! The host Marge, was very professional and checked with us a few times during our stay to make sure everything was perfect. We had a storm come through one evening that damaged the sliding lanai door, we messaged Marge and she had it fixed right away. Will definitely be staying in this unit again!

Location

The location is great the view is fantastic. The place it’s self is very outdated. Price is right. Needs an all around cleaning from top to bottom. You get what you pay and the place is listed cheaper than all others Property owners is on the spot with communication. The unit has no door number. Fridge and light fixtures are rusted everywhere needs paint unit feels run down. It Is a great place if all you care about is a place to sleep.

Best View!

Loved the 6th floor ocean view at Lahaina Shores. All we needed was the fridge & microwave. Because there was no kitchen taking up space in the unit, it was much roomier than other units. AC worked great, parking was right out in front. Gorgeous lobby and helpful, knowledgeable & attentive staff.

Magnificent Views

The room had the most amazing views facing the ocean. We absolutely loved having the sliding door open (with the screen door closed) to listen to the surf at while falling asleep. The new sink/vanity is nice. The front desk staff could not be kinder. Pool, spa, exterior grounds and beach are super nice. As noted in the pictures and other reviews, the place could use some TLC. That didn’t bother us bc we didn’t hang out in the room much. What I didn’t like was that the microwave is on top of a full sized refrigerator. It was dangerous pulling out my mug of hot water for tea each morning. I’m not sure why there is a full sized fridge without a kitchen. Also, the refrigerator is unsightly as the exterior is covered with rust spots.

Beautiful view!

The hotel was very clean, friendly staff and the vibe was very relaxing and peaceful. Grounds well maintained and pool area very inviting. Good restaurant right next door and easy walking distance to downtown Lahaina. Only downside was our room had no kitchen and not much counter space to prepare food. No where to sit and eat except on sofa or lanai. It would be nice if the lanai had a small table to eat instead of a coffee style table. Overall though we had a wonderful stay and you can’t beat the ocean front view! Would definitely stay again. Thanks Marge!

The condo couldn’t have been in a better location! Right on the beach and walking distance to a popular beginner surf spot and the shops/restaurants. Having a pool/spa and a washer/dryer on the property was a plus! Parking was crazy cheap. We can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful Stay in Paradise

We had a great stay here! The view from the terrace was absolutely amazing. We sat out there morning and night. The check in and out process was super easy. Parking was inexpensive. We had everything we needed for the beach: coolers, beach chairs, beach towels, and floats. You are so close to the ocean that you can even hear the waves crashing with the doors closed. We loved that! There is also a hair dryer as an amenity, but did not see it listed. It was within walking distance to all the restaurants and shops on front street and a short drive to other towns. The beach in front isn’t the best for snorkeling, but we did encounter two sea turtles close to shore. Marge was also super with communication. Usually had a response within minutes. Would definitely stay here again!

Comfortable condo with outstanding view

Stayed at Marge’s condo for 8 weeks Jan-Feb. Room was very clean. Marge knew I was staying for an extended period so left me everything I would need. To be honest this unit isn’t as fancy and updated as some of the other condos in the building, but it’s comfortable and has everything I needed for my stay. This unit doesn’t have a full kitchen, it does have a full size refrigerator and microwave, but I eat out a lot and have leftovers. Has coffee maker and toaster for morning needs. The ocean view is the best and there are comfortable chairs on the lanai to enjoy the sunsets and a glass of wine. You can’t go wrong staying here.

Best view/location in town!

My wife and I stayed at Lahaina Shores back in 2018 in a different unit, which is why we decide to stay here again this time. We love everything about this resort, it's close to everything, food, marina, entertainment, you name it! The view from the balcony is incredible, we even saw a whale breach while having our morning coffee. on a side note, I was shocked to read a few of the negative reviews on this property, I can't imagine being so high maintenaced to complain about such an affordable slice of paradise, (to them I say, go ahead and pay 2 to 3 times as much for a resort, good luck matching this view.) Not only was our unit clean and beautiful, but also well supplied with coffee, plates, silverware, napkins, beach items, binoculars and even a ukelele for me to play (ish) on the balcony. We couldn't have asked for better accomodations, and certainly not for that price. Well beyond our expectations and we hope to visit again soon. HIGLY RECOMMEND!!

The bathroom are was in need of a make over...smelled of musty mold and mildew. Bathroom sink was slow to drain, got it unstopped and draining properly. There was an ironi but no ironingboard. Last 2 stays at this resort was very nice. This one lacked any living appeal. No kitchen. Bed was comfortable and ckean.

Enjoyed Our Stay

Highlights: Owner provided beach chairs and floaties, which was great. Full size refrigerator and microwave is great if you plan on eating all your meals at restaurants. Beachfront is fabulous, along with the pool and grounds. Plus you can walk to all restaurants in Lahaina along with a few restaurants in the 505 Shops, right next door. This unit is great if you had not stayed in another unit in the property previously. It is clean, gives you 4 pillows, but no more, 2 sets of bath towels and 2 sets of beach towels. This is what the private owner provides. You cannot get additional house keeping items from the resort. Bathroom is adequate, and bathroom sink is the only place to do dishes if you choose to try to reheat foods and eat in the room. If you have stayed in another unit in this property, please manage your expectations. The unit is a good place to stay, however if you have stayed in a remodeled unit in the resort you may be disappointed. Not a full kitchen. We had planned on grocery shopping and being able to cook in the unit. But with no kitchen we could not. All in all we enjoyed our 4 night stay, but were very happy to move to the other condo in the resort that had a full kitchen for the remainder of our stay.

Amazing View!!!

Everything was as described. Resort staff is awesome and the location is convenient. The bed is super soft and comfortable. The view is everything!! You can watch sea turtles grazing from the balcony and the sunsets are breathtaking. Marge was quick to respond to all communications and always helpful. We will definitely stay here again!!!
