« Very clean property with a comfortable bed. Close to dining and grocery store. Tide was in during our stay so we did not go down to the beach. The water is not suitable for swimming as there is a thick sludge matter on the ocean in the area. »

« Overall, the house was better than in the pictures. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for a 5 night stay. The private beach at the edge of the lake was beautiful, but what we didn’t anticipate was the 2 minute walk to the lake park with a dock, slide into the water, and diving board. Spent many days there were all kids and adults had a blast. 10 minute drive from lake cowichan town center made it easy to get groceries and got tubing down the river. »

« Nice property with a great view and plenty of space. The house is nicely situated in a quiet neighborhood, has a jaw-dropping view and a private parking. However, we were disappointed that we had to contact the owner one hour prior to our arrival to get the check-in information (but she did answer quickly when we wrote to her). Also, the beddings were dirty and the door knobs around the house were sticky. There were multiple deficiencies. The upper element of the oven didn't work properly,...

« Lovely garden suite with beautiful deck/ backyard access. Loved the fire table and hot tub. Owners werent home during our stay so it was very private. 5 min drive to the lake & town. Lots of little gems (hikes, shops, swim spots etc) around this area . Picture is from hike about 20 min away from house, with great views overlooking Shawnigan lake! »
