The Bothy at Wennington Old Farm is Set within the golden stone of a 17th‑century farmstead dating back to 1688.

The Bothy has been beautifully restored offering a rare blend of heritage, comfort and understated luxury. With countryside views and long walks in the Forest of Bowland on the door step.

Ground Floor
Inside, a calm and inviting space has been thoughtfully designed for open plan relaxed living. The well appointed kitchen sits beneath a window framing rolling countryside over the fields. While the lounge is cosy there is a large smart HD Tv, tasteful soft furnishings and a dining area. It is the perfect space for unwinding after a day out.

First Floor:
Upstairs, the boutique-style bedroom offers a peaceful sanctuary, with a king-sized bed dressed in crisp white linens for a restful night’s sleep. There is also a smart Tv, electric blinds and generous storage. A beautifully appointed en suite bathroom with shower completes the layout.

Outside:
The propery has the benefit of its own parking space and a small private courtyard garden. There is secure storage for muddy boots and bikes if needed.

Perfectly positioned between the Yorkshire Dales, the Forest of Bowland and within easy reach of the Lake District, The Bothy is ideal for walking, cycling and exploring, secure bike storage available on site. The vibrant market town of Kirkby Lonsdale is just a short drive away, as are Bentham, Ingleton and all the villages of the Lune Valley & The Dales.

Just around the corner lies Wennington Hall, a popular wedding venue. At the bottom of the drive, you’ll find The Tatham Bridge Inn, a traditional country pub; perfect for relaxed evenings, with many other pubs and restaurants within a short drive.

Despite its tranquil setting, The Bothy is well connected, making it an easy escape from everyday. M6 south (jn 34) just over 15 mins away and M6 north (jn 36) just over 20 mins away. Nearest station is Wennington only 2 mins drive or 6-7 mins walk with connections to Leeds and Lancaster/Morecambe.
