Dear guest, we are really sorry about your unsatisfying stay with us. It is true: our summer hotel is a boarding school during winter times and is transformed into a hotel only for the three holiday months of the students. We do have three buildings, in which we accomodate our guests, of one which has an elevator and the rooms are spacious and one has no elevator, because all the rooms are on the same floor. The third building is the one in which you stayed and we are really sorry, that it didn't come up to your expectations. We will do our best to improve our standard and services from now on! Dear Aki, thank you for your review! For first we have to confirm, that Hotel Laugar is actually a school during winter times and just gets transformed into a hotel in the three months of students summer holiday - this is why you find the rooms maybe not on a normal hotel standard. Second: We are really sorry about the breakfast experience that you had. Please accept our apologies and we will do our best to improve. Just as an explanation: here in Iceland we do depend on the deliveries, which mostly get imported from abroad. We didn't get our main delivery and we have actually been to the store the day before to get some more juice, but also them just had little quantities, due to the lack of arrival also of their delivery and the morning groups consumed the whole lot of existing juice. As said before... we apologize and we wish you still a lovely summer!
