The Space:

A purpose-built 1-bedroom condo on the corner of 8th & Poplar — one block off Harrison Avenue, single-level, with its own private entrance. Built for couples who want to walk to dinner and recover from a big mountain day in their own infrared sauna.

12-inch memory foam queen with bed linens, extra pillows and blankets. Built-in infrared sauna mounted against the wall — wood-paneled and ready to use. Wall-mounted Roku TV. Sliding barn door connects to the bath.



➔ Bathroom (off the bedroom)

Full bath with tub/shower combo, glass-tile surround, single vanity. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and towels provided.



➔ Living + Kitchen (front of unit)

Open layout with a green velvet sofa, Roku TV (HBO, Netflix), and a laptop workspace. Double French doors open onto Poplar Street. The full kitchen runs along the back wall — stainless fridge, gas stove + oven, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, drip coffee maker, full cookware and dishware. Bar-height table for two.

To protect your stay, you'll choose one of two options during online check-in: a $150 refundable security deposit (a temporary card hold, released after checkout) or a small damage waiver ($5/night, max $40).



Guest Access:

The entire 1-bedroom condo is yours — private entrance off Poplar Street, your own bedroom, bath, kitchen, and living room. No shared interior space with other guests or owners.



After booking you'll receive an email with a link to our digital guidebook. The guidebook is the only way to access check-in instructions, the door code, parking and trash details, and any pet-fee or upgraded-service requests.



The Neighborhood:

You're one block off Harrison Avenue (Main Street) in downtown Leadville — the highest incorporated town in North America at 10,152 ft.



Within a 5-minute walk:

✔ Periodic Brewing + Two Mile Brewing for post-hike beer

✔ City Market grocery (8 blocks south on Poplar)

Getting Around:

A car helps in Leadville for the bigger drives (Ski Cooper, trailheads, Twin Lakes), but you don't need one for the town — Main Street, groceries, breweries, and the Mineral Belt Trail are all walkable from the front door.



✔ Free parking on Poplar Street (street) and 8th Street (diagonal across the building)

✔ Avoid parking directly in front of neighbors' houses on E 8th

✔ In heavy snow, watch for snow-removal "no parking" signs to avoid getting towed

✔ Nearest gas + grocery: City Market (8 blocks south) and Stop-N-Save on Harrison

✔ Lake County RTA bus runs limited winter service toward Copper Mountain

- This unit has access to the boiler/water/heater for the building. If there is an emergency or issue with any of the utility systems, we may need to access through this unit.

- No air conditioning — Leadville rarely needs it at 10,152 ft. Summer nights drop into the 40s; extra blankets provided.

- Pets welcome: 2 max. A pet fee applies and is collected via the guidebook link after booking.

- Trash goes in the 3 green Waste Management bins on the north side of the building. Pick up after pets and bag trash to avoid attracting wildlife.

- Altitude is real at 10,152 ft. Symptoms (headache, dizziness, nausea) usually pass in 24–48 hours — hydrate, take it slow your first day, skip alcohol night one. We can't refund altitude-related cancellations; travel insurance recommended.

- Occasional insects and small critters are part of mountain living — the unit is sealed and treated, but a fully bug-free alpine stay isn't realistic.

- Check-in details and any upgrade requests are handled via the guidebook link sent after booking.
