„The Appletree Inn newly aquired by Claire Collery, is a treasure! Claire, has taken every effort to make the Inn welcoming, elegant and comfortable for each guest who comes through their doors. The pool was clean and delightfully refreshing while looking out on the Berkshire Hills. The room in the lodge, was basic, but extremely clean and quiet. „altmodisches, hübsches Motel etwas außerhalb von Williamstown an rel. schwach befahrener Landstraße; Zimmer sauber und gemütlich. Gastronomische Betreuung durch benachbartes, zum Motel gehörendes Lokal im Stil eines typisch amerikanischen Landgasthauses: Bar mit großem Fernsehbildschirm, auf dem Football läuft, "please wait to be seated" (ziemlich lange, da sehr gut besucht), amerikanische Speisen von Clam Chowder über Burgers bis zu Texas-Style-Steaks, alles ok und zu noch vertretbaren Preisen ...

„wonderfully restored old mansion. Rooms were charming... nicely designed. In fact the entire facility has been thoughtfully brought into today's design standards. Very accomodating staff... although many appeared to be a training mode. Need to improve the professionalism a bit. They have a new general manager (had only been there about 2 weeks when we visited)... seems he has a number of things on his agenda that will improve the property even more. Food was good... but not wonderful.  ...

„We were a big group..16 adults and 7 children. The families with children were well situated with nearby or adjacent rooms. Everyone had comfortable rooms which afforded privacy and quiet times. Each room had its own beautiful newly renovated bathrooms ( with great water pressure). The living and dining rooms were large and comfortable. The dining table was a loooong table with benches all around which easily sat our crowd. The backyard was gorgeous with beautiful views of the distant mountains. ...
