« My friend and I loved staying in the Carters Cottage. It's very beautiful inside, modern kitchen & bathrooms, so cozy. We also loved the little village with several fun walks. I would highly recommend this place if you want a quiet and comfortable place to stay in a beautiful area of Scotland. The owner, Jacquline, is super nice and lives nearby. »

« Très belle propriété avec des hôtes disponibles, de bons conseils et arrangeants (notamment pour le partage du jardin principal pour notre chienne). Le logement a du caractère, est fonctionnel et cosy. Très bien situé pour une visite du sud et du centre de l'Ecosse (beaucoup de randonnées dans les environs). Un nouveau barbecue serait un plus. Nous avons en plus eu beaucoup de chance avec la météo qui nous a permis de bien profiter de notre séjour. »

« A lovely property with a stunning view! All sorts of experiences from 30 minutes to 2 hours away. We enjoyed golf, Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Saint Andrews, Dunnottar Castle and more. Fully equipped kitchen made at home meals easy with grocery nearby. Outdoor fire pit was warm and welcoming at night. Gordon is a gracious and helpful host … the his “pet” pheasant very cool to see so close up! Highly recommend this rental to all. »

« We wanted to take our parents back to an area we love with fond memories and that of course was Fife. We needed a cottage big enough for four, spacious and all the essentials. Sleeping six, we found it in Kilconquhar, a short throw from Elie, Anstruther, even St Andrews and yet peaceful enough to sit on a night and read a book. Two bathrooms/toilets, a dining area more than adequate and of course a big enough kitchen to practice ones favourite pastime! What was there not to like? »

« The interior and the garden are very pleasant. The advert did not make it clear that the cottage is next to a road of fast flowing traffic, and that parking is next to the road, which is dangerous for getting a dog from the car to the cottage. There are no dog walks nearby. The inclusion of the hot tub drew us in, but we were not going to pay an extra £100 to use it. Those sleeping in the double room found the room too hot, and noisy with passing traffic. It was impossible to use Netflix. On...

« After a long drive to get there it was lovely to dump the cases and get into the hot tub. The accommodation was better than expected and we both enjoyed our stay there. We were told that the drive was a wee bit tight but other than that, no issues »
