„Wunderschönes altes Hotel bzw. Inn mit Geschichte, inklusive Restaurant/Pub mit hervorragendem Essen. Herzliche und aufmerksame Besitzer, ruhige Lage, tolle alte Zimmer mit Himmelbett. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, war das beste Hotel in unserer England-Reise. Wonderful historic hotel with excellent food, amazing rooms; by far the nicest place to stay during our South England trip. „Unfreundliche Eigentümerin, keinerlei Erklärungen, standen mind. 10 Minuten an der Theke - keine Bedienung von Eigentümerin Zimmertür nicht verschließbar, Schrank war voller Gerümpel und somit nicht benutzbar; keine weitere Ablage im Zimmer; statt dem gebuchten Doppelbett erhielten wir Einzelbetten“

„As a family of four with 2 teens and a big dog, it's difficult to find somewhere not over priced and a big enough space for us all. We stayed in a very spacious family room. Bathroom had a big drench shower and heated towel rail. Plenty of space for our dog's big bed! Ben and the other staff were very friendly and attentive, also accommodating to our needs. Breakfast was included and fantastic choice. We ate at the pub on the second night and the food really was fantastic and a good varied menu. ...

„Bed was very comfortable and room was lovely. Gorgeous view. Food was good too and I appreciated the breakfast hamper although some might prefer a hot breakfast. Only minor annoyance was hearing lots of kitchen noise when I was trying to get an early night. But I was so tired I couldn’t be bothered to get up to ask anyone to be quiet! Overall I would go back. The staff were all lovely and helpful and found me safe overnight storage for my bike. “

„If you are looking to stay in a traditional English Pub, this is the place. Cozy rooms with great washroom facilities. Very clean and comfortable beds. Rooms are equipped with electricity outlets, wifi and tv for those needing it. The pub itself is fantastic with a very well stocked bar.
