„Das Bed & Breakfast ist wirklich luxuriös - sowohl Ausstattung als auch Komfort. Die Unterkunft ist romantisch in hellen und freundlichen Tönen ausgestattet. Die Farben sind excellent aufeinander abgestimmt und überalle Blumen arrangiert. Es ist alles sehr sauber und ohne Makel, trotz der hellen Farbe. Wir waren von der Einrichtung wirklich sehr sehr angetan und traurig, dass wir hier nur eine Nacht gebucht haben, da wir eine Reise nach Cornwall geplant haben. „Zimmer im Hinterhaus hinter dem Pub, das heißt ruhig (Pub und Hauptstraße). Komfortables Bett und sehr weiche Handtücher. Frühstück kann bei Ankunft dazu gebucht werden (z.B. Full English Breakfast für 8,75£ inkl Kaffee/Tee). Sehr netter Service, Check-in ist bis 23 Uhr im Pub möglich. Teilweise ist das Bad renovierungsbedürftig und hat eher 2-Sterne Standard (getrennte Wasserhähne für warmes und kaltes Wasser, kaputte/dreckige Abflüsse), insbesondere für ein 4-Sterne Hotel. “

„Es gab bei Ankunft Unstimmigkeiten, da im Hotel nicht bekannt war, daß die Buchung bereits bezahlt war. Die Mitarbeiter haben sich dem aber sehr angenommen und konnte dies klären. Die Betten waren sehr gut! Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis vom Frühstück passte auch.“

„The room was clean and funky in terms of decoration which we liked. We hadn't realised that it was not a bathroom ensuit but shared one with three other rooms, but this was also very clean and luckily we were the only occupied room for the night we spent there. The staff were friendly and as we had to leave early the next morning kindly laid on a breakfast bap for us at 7am. An excellent setting next to the river and ideally suited for a short trip into Bath.“

„This place has been transformed from a house into a 10 room guest house but with virtually no health and safety measures in place or faulty/unusable ones. The rooms, themselves, are ok but small but, again, no PAT Testing done, no fire exits highlighted etc. The showers are filthy and poorly maintained (more water comes out of the hose than reaches the head). All in all avoid at all costs. Fire doors are wedged open and the only fire blanket is very high up.“

„You will only be able to use the pool and bath between 8-10 am and 7-9 pm as a hotel guest for free. If you like to use the bath and pool at other times they charge 70 Pounds :-(. Swimming in the pool is not possible (too hot and too small). Breakfast and Restaurant are very expensive.“

„Das Hotel ist eher im Business Style. Leider fanden wir das Bett nicht sehr bequem. Die Lage ist gut. Nicht weit vom Zentrum. Das Frühstück ist eher bescheiden, alles vom Budget und etwas lieblos. Es war immer sehr voll, dass man sich einen Platz suchen musste. Für mich eher ein 3 Stern Hotel.“
