The house is stocked with plenty of kitchen supplies, plus many games and movies if you're stuck inside. „Had an absolute wonderful time! My husband and I spent three nights and four days at the historic green door home. We were both able to fully recharge and relax and were dreaming of ways to stay for longer. Only travelled from just over an hour away but It was far enough from the loud city that it was remarkable how quiet ones surroundings become. „Spent one night in Port Perry to go to car show. Arrived night before and walked around town as suggested by Lynn our host and enjoyed the beautiful old homes and marina. Had an amazing dinner at Jesters and next day had a fantastic breakfast at the Inn. Excellent host, lovely little dog Teddie. Felt like home. Could not have asked for better stay. “

„We had a wonderful time at Dorado Cottage. The place is spotless, very well appointed, and had excellent air conditioning. The pictures of the place DO NOT deceive. It was very hot and we loved being able to come into the air conditioned cottage when we couldn't bear the heat. There were four of us senior women, and we appreciated the owners quick response to any concerns. Note to other seniors, there are stairs but they are manageable. The 2 ladies who had knee problems stayed in the upstairs ...

We were lucky enough to catch a stunning sunset over the lake on our first night, which really set the tone for a relaxing stay. Jennifer is a thoughtful and accommodating host who was easy to communicate with. She offered us thicker blankets in case it got chilly and even upgraded our cottage at no extra cost. Everyone in the community was so friendly and welcoming. We’ll definitely be returning!“
