First impressions of the apartment were that it was dirty! There was a layer of dust on everything. The rugs were filthy and stained. I immediately sent a text explaining everything with pictures to Get Ready and received the following response, "Hi Sandra, thank you for sending the pictures and sorry for any inconvenience caused. Have a nice day!" I responded, requesting action, and was told to send more details! I sent 13 pictures during my stay. Someone came on Saturday, 5/12, and removed one rug and dusted. That's it. I asked for a refund, and they responded that they would contact me on checkout day to discuss. Picures showed dust, broken door lock,moldy shower and broken shower door, no control for kitchen a/c, old cookware, chipped dishes, dirty rugs, old tattered couch, dirty linens, broken shade, drapes hung backwards, broken closet piece, drawers that do not open fully, back door that did not lock properly (we fixed it), and just filth everywhere. TERRIBLE experience and customer service. We only showered and slept there, as moving after having paid in advance was unfortunately not an option. The ONLY positive was top-of-the-line kitchen appliances, of which we only used the refrigerator (after wiping it down, coffee maker, microwave, and washing machine. This is NOT an elegant getaway as described by Get Ready. Waiting for refund consideration.
