« What an incredible house! Owners even provided a locally themed welcome gift! Plenty of space for our family of 5 with wonderfully outfitted kitchen. Loved the outdoor space! We made all of our meals in the house. Murphy’s Market in Trinidad and the Coop in Arcata are great grocery stores. We were able to visit the beaches and redwoods from this location easily. « The house was adorable and perfect for our relaxed little family of four and fur kids. We are easy going and really don’t need too much. With that said it was a rainy weekend and the walk from our vehicle to the house was extremely wet, socks, shoes, bottom of pants soaked. A nice little stepping stone walkway would be awesome. But unlike the rest of my family I packed rain boots and didn’t have an issue. The area was serene the hike to the beach definitely a crows mile, we didn’t ever end up...

« We have stayed at a lot of VRBO properties. This was one of the best. We enjoyed the proximity to the various redwoods parks, grocery and eateries, as well as some lovely beaches. The kitchen was the best-equipped, neatest we've encountered. The place was just the right size for two, and the ability to walk down and sit looking at the ocean was a bonus. A positively sumptuous bed was only slightly offset by the fact the couch is not very comfortable. We did not use the hot tub, so I can't speak...

« A cozy, veey well equiped cabin with a large patio area overlooking the river. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen is well equiped with nice cookware, dishes and utensils. There is a washer and dryer, games, books. A hammoc, barbeque, picnic table and lots a seating on the patio. The trail to the river is short but steep with a rocky beach along a beautiful swimming area at the bottom. A very quiet neighborhood. »

« Just my mom and I used this home at the beginning of August. We both love this home. It’s perfect for two people. Or if you’re a couple with a child, this works out really well. Bring a fan because the house doesn’t have a fan if you need some air circulation, otherwise we’ll be back here again next August. Great location. Close to restaurants and the private festival. Quiet here. Great view of the river and ocean. Just love this place. »
