„After a warm welcome we stayed one night in a nice, quite, individually furnished and well equipped appartment above the garage. The double bed is small, but an additional convertible sofa can be used. The house is sited in a green environment. It is a five minute walk to Ferndale Main St (recommendable: Ivanhoe restaurant & saloon). The access road is very steep. “

„We stayed in the Cypress Cottage. It was very quiet and comfortable. You could see the ocean from the window and the kitchen was stocked with all you need for cooking. They supplied coffee, tea and a complimentary bottle of wine. The carpet needed to be removed due to age in the eating area, stained. Upon entry the cabin smelled of dogs from the past. We had to air it out. We were not particularly bothered by this being a dog owner ourselves but not what we wanted to smell on a getaway ...

„Valerie was a great host, very welcoming and friendly. Really enjoyed, and needed, the breakfast foods she provided, since it was raining when we got there and didn’t have time to go to the store. Eggs, coffee, creamer, yogurt, pastries, were all wonderful. The neighborhood is cute, with a dog park and stores near by. We visited The City of 10,000 Buddha’s, which we enjoyed very much. If you are traveling with a dog, this place is perfect.“
