« We really enjoyed our stay at the lodge. It was very cosy and well equipped. The setting is stunning with beautiful countryside and a haven for wildlife. It was lovely to see the otter and so many different birds, the woodpeckers being our favourite. Angela and Shaun have obviously worked very hard to make this into a special place to come and stay. If you want some peace and quiet, this is the place to be. Sitting in the hot tub, overlooking the lake is a blissful way to enjoy a glass of wine...

« Absolutely loved our quick little get away. Lovely remote area and amazing for stars at night. The cottage was a good size even with a toddler running about. The welcome basket was a saving grace and loved the bara brith (ordered more to take home as gifts too). We went into Llandeilo which had not many but lovely shops and on one of our days drove for about an hour to get to folly Farm. It was nice and relaxed and the hot tub was so comfy. « What a perfect stay in an interesting cottage it was cosy very well equipped and very clean very dog friendly bowls blankets and towels also dog treats provided.. and what a lovely welcome basket welsh fruit cake pancakes waffles and even a bottle of prosecco from the owners dawn and Mike who are friendly and very helpful we had plenty of logs for the initial fire a nice forest walk for the dogs just up from the cottage a lovely little village we were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived...

« We loved it despite me having a chest infection followed by rotten cold!Peaceful, spotless, comfortable, everything we needed.Didn’t find a key for back door but it didn’t matter as we did loading that way then locked from inside and used front which I managed okay with my crutches.We enjoyed the fact that no live tv channels as we explored streaming with good effect.Not to be missed, Red Kite Feeding,Hay on Wye book shops and castlesMany wonderful walks I unfortunately can no longer...
