« A great place to stay. Very quirky and you could tell that the place had a lot of history. Very clean and tidy and beautifully maintained. The only issue we had was the TV did not work well in the room we stayed in (4) as it kept losing the signal and buffering. »

L’emplacement est très proche du centre ville qui reste accessible très rapidement à pieds. »

The welcome we received was fantastic, the room was lovely with a big comfortable bed and we slept better than we had in ages. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and there was an honesty bar in the cosy lounge area. We would highly recommend this lovely B&B and would happily book to stay again. »

« A very lovely stay. Our room was very comfortable, nice bed and great shower. The hosts were spectacular. The breakfasts were some of the best breakfasts at a B & B. Hosts also gave us great travel tips for the area, we loved exploring the Elan Valley, Devils Bridge and Aberyswyth. »

« Lovely location, with a restaurant and a pub within walking distance, and a 24 hour laundrette at the service station just down the road. The room was very comfortable and the facilities included a kitchen, a dining area with a lovely view, and lounge with a large TV. The owners were friendly, helpful and gave good information on things to see and do. »

« Situated at the end of a quiet lane with breath taking views of the countryside and the Black Mountains beyond, we were met by our wonderful host Sophie who welcomed us to her lovely home. Private entrance to the house, with everything you could possibly need, thoughtfully delivered to provide a very comfortable stay. Breakfast was delicious and the best I have had in some time. Sophie was knowledgable and super helpful, and lovely to get to know. Totally recommend staying. »

« This fantastic B&B looks like a mansion, its interior is beautifully decorated and the rooms have a standard high above most B&Bs. Beds and bedsheet, bathrooms, breakfast – they are all characterized by great taste and the hostess is very sympathetic and service minded. During our travel around in England, Scotland and Wales for three weeks in September 2019 we stayed at 13 different B&Bs and hotels – Plas Y Dderwen was definitely the best B&B of them all. »

« No electricity from 10pm until the following morning .Dogs barking all night as it is adjoining a kennels. Contact no given doesn't get responded to. No breakfast provided due to cover but this wasn't pointed out when booking »
