Hotel Llywel

« The room was clean and staff were friendly, there was a free car park available and very nice view, breakfast and dinner were delicious »

« An excellent stay overall. Our room was very comfortable and pleasant. Common kitchen area a bit chaotic but ok. Easy to find and convenient for Brecon. Would return. »

« Superbly hosted by Jen and Howard. If your heading to Brecon look no further! With views of the Beacons second to none. »

« Definitely one of the best Hotels we’ve stayed at. The hosts were amazing and their attention to detail and care exceptional. A very enjoyable stay and will definitely book again if we visit Llanymddyfri. »

« Excellent accommodation and food at the Pub was also very good. »

« Very clean, spacious room . Parking is mostly paid just outside the b&b - I think 3 parkings are there so no problem with finding a place. »

« Superb lovely experience. Staff very friendly and helpful where possible. Cosy, food was fantastic and spa jacuzzi has fab view »

« Lovely people - thank you »

« A beautiful restoration of an old building with lovely hosts and staff. »

« The location is remote, peaceful and lovely. It's an old building and full of character with huge, comfortable rooms. All the staff were helpful. Breakfasts were a little limited, but adequate. We didn't enjoy the one dinner we had, but it was good value. Overall I'd recommend this hotel for its excellent value accommodation and location. »

« A nice place to stay with friendly helpful staff in a beautiful location. Having family close by this will be our first choice to stay on our many visits. »

« Beautiful room and a great location »

« A lovely old-fashioned hotel in a stunning setting. Comfortable, clean, cozy. On arrival we were surprised to find nobody there even though we'd waited for reception opening time. Our keys were in a plastic bag pinned to a cork board. Explanations were confusing. Breakfast was an epic adventure. The gas stove had broken down and a tremendous effort was made by staff to provide us with a very good Welsh breakfast that was well worth waiting nearly an hour for. The lady who waited on us was very...

« We returned for our 2nd wedding anniversary and had an amazing stay. The staff were friendly and extremely accommodating. We had our two dogs with us who were treated as well as we were if not better! Breakfast had ample options and staff could not be more helpful. A relaxing atmosphere with beautiful views. We can’t wait to go back. »
