We loved our trip to Hocking Hills! Bobcat Bluff was a very nice, clean cabin in a great location and I would def stay there again!

Family Girls Trip 2024
The property was beautiful, very clean, close proximity to the places we wanted to go. We had tons of fun. The only negative thing was the communication with the owner was not great. At first she was apparently out of town and the back up peraon didnt answer. When the owner returned she did answer questions. The week we were to come there I had contacted her due to the possibility of potentially rescheduling because one of our daughters, who was bringing two of our granddaughters, had an abscessed tooth and the infection was not clearing as expected. She declined to wirk with me on rescheduling. We were able to still go as scheduled thabkfully. And while we were there I had contacted her asking if there were extra blankets anywhere that we could use ut she never answered. Thankfully Inhad throws and blankets in the car so we used those. Overall it was a wonderful time and there was NOTHING negative about the Bobcat Bluff property itself.

Joni, thank you for your review! I’m so happy to hear you enjoyed your time at Bobcat Bluff. You are correct- we hate the idea of a last minute emergency keeping someone from their trip but we are unable to offer refunds for last minute cancellations or reschedules. We ask all guests to review the cancellation policy and to please purchase the trip insurance if there’s a possibility you would need to cancel.

I wish I lived here!
Most relaxing time of year is coming to this cabin with family. We don’t want to go home after staying here because of the magical time we have here. Everything is perfect and location can’t be beat! Can’t wait until next year…. Unless I surprise the wife with a romantic trip later this summer.

We had a wonderful family trip to Hocking Hills. The cabin was perfect for the 7 of us. Kitchen was well stocked, we enjoyed the game room and hot tub. We would stay here again!

We enjoyed the house and pool table and house was clean and well stocked. The only thing we would suggest is new couchs as the ones there were in not very good shape and maybe a couple more chairs as we didnt really have enough seating for 7 of us. Other than that a very nice property👍

Clean and picturesque!
We had a group of eight staying at Bobcat Bluff for a thirtieth birthday and it was great! Sarah the host was extremely communicative and nice. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you need to make meals, the space was clean, and it was nice and quiet. We enjoyed the fireplace and hot tub. There is firewood on site for $7 a bunch that you can easily venmo which we took full advantage of. There are also commemorative mugs you can venmo the host for, which we all ended up doing as well! This was such a cute cabin and we had such a good time, and we’re looking forward to our next trip out. :)

Christmas Getaway
This was our first time ever to spend Christmas away from home, and our experience was so wonderful that our family is going to make this a new tradition! Bobcat Bluff is an absolutely beautiful cabin. The location is perfect—not too far out but still tucked away in a picturesque setting. It has everything you could ask for including a great hot tub, game room, fireplace, deck and gas grill. You’ll never want to leave! Highly recommend!

This was our 4th year going to Hocking Hills and our 1st time staying at Bobcat Bluff. It is a beautiful cabin with everything we needed to enjoy our trip! I will absolutely rent this same cabin again.

Family Vacation 2023
Bobcat Bluff was our home for the week for our family vacation and it felt exactly like home! It slept everyone comfortably! The kitchen was great for our family breakfasts & dinners. The location is not far at all from some really nice local shops & restaurants. The cabin was tucked away in it's own little nook with a great view for sunrises & quietness. Coffee on the deck was amazing. Highly recommend this for a peaceful getaway!!

E we were able to sit on the back deck and watch the deer grazing for at least an hour! Yet, it was still close enough to a down to get groceries and eat at restaurants…not to mention the wonderful ziplining experience near by!

4th of July weekend
We loved everything about this cabin! There were 7 of us and we had plenty of room to spread out. The upstairs balcony was our favorite place to hang out to enjoy the outdoors and look for wildlife. The place was clean and the beds were comfortable. I would definitely recommend.

The property was clean, and the listing was accurate. However, I saw past reviews of complaints about the smell of the septic system, and the replies to it was that it had been corrected. We smelled the septic system almost every day when we were outside in the hot tub, or at the fire pit or even driving into the property and getting out of the car to enter the cabin.

Great time!
First time staying at this cabin! Had a wonderful time with all my friends all under the same place! Rooms were great and kitchen had everything we needed. Hot tub and fire pit was great for the perfect weather! Small things that we had trouble with was the septic smell while outside, the power did go out for a couple minutes and the sink would randomly spit out water but other then that we had a great time and would definitely recommend this cabin and stay in other ones!

Great Location/Nice Cabin
The location of this cabin is very nice. It is quiet and not far from stores or the trails. The wood burning fireplace is nice. Our two issues were that there is only one tv and it’s in the basement. We used our Apple TV because there is no cable or satellite. Unfortunately after an hour we had very little connection to the Wi-Fi for the rest of the trip. Also most of the buttons on the microwave don’t work. Other than that this is a very nice cabin.

Thank you so much for your review, we're so happy you enjoyed the cabin and it's proximity to the areas attractions and trails. We're sorry the WIFI was not up to standards- after investigation we've found our satellite internet provider has slowed our speeds so we've taken your feedback and are having new internet installed on March 15th! Hopefully this will resolve the issue for future guests.

Christmas in the Woods
We were looking to make new memories after the loss of a loved one this year. Sarah had the cabin decorated for Christmas and left us a little gift bag with an ornament. It was such a sweet welcome and we really appreciated this attention to detail. The cabin was really cold the first night and the electricity flickered on and off quite a bit but that really wasn't unexpected given the extreme temperatures and snow/ice. It was warm and toasty the rest of our stay and we really enjoyed ourselves. I would definitely recommend and stay again!

We had a lovely time at the cabin… Exactly as described. I would definitely recommend taking an SUV as the driveway is quite steep. The property is exactly as described. I may suggest bringing your own pillows as the pillows are not the best quality in the beds. The only other thing I would say is to ask as many questions at the host prior to booking because during our stay, we never heard back on a couple of questions we messaged about while staying there. All that said, we would absolutely book her again, and we really enjoyed the stay.

Charming weekend, cozy cabin
We arrived for a rainy weekend, but could hardly be disappointed with our cozy accommodations! The cabin has everything you need for your stay. I lived the variety of lighting options to give it different moods. We didn't use the fire pit since it was wet and cold, but we enjoyed reading by the fireplace in the evenings. And we got to wake up to the first snow of the season! I would love to come back every year!

was much needed get away with family & friends! cabin was amazing; my fav is that you can be in the hot tub and enjoy the fire. my only complaint is the occasional septic smell while being outside.

Wonderful relaxing stay in a beautiful area.
This property worked great for our family of 8. Perfect location -- we got out to hike the nearby trails at Hocking Hills, visited Logan Lake, did a ropes/zipline course, mini golfed, and went to a glass blowing studio and winery. The weather was wonderful. We did most of our meals at the cabin and all the kitchenware we needed was available. It was great to relax in the hot tub at the end of the day as well. The only minor issue we found was that the beds were a little hard.

We stayed for two nights with 4 adults and 4 children (two families). The cabin had everything we could possibly need, and was very well kept. We had to contact the owner for the code when we arrived for check-in, but that was quickly taken care of. We will be back!
