Horrendous service
Appreciative of the 15.00 check-in time our arrival at 10am led me to ask the check-in agent if there was a possibility of an earlier check in. An abusive response in monosyllabic English abruptly informed me that the rooms would not be cleaned until 15.00.in excess of 20 guests arriving after our attemptto check in were granted room access. At 15.15 I approached the check in to be pleasantly checked in by another agent. A horrendous experience- intervention by the front office manager confirmed that the first agent’s behavior was not supported. Future guests beware

Pas mal
Hôtel propre, calme, confortable (chambre standard), et superficie satisfaisante pour Londres. Personnel (accueil et concierge notamment) devrait apprendre à sourire et à se remuer (mais ca c’est le flegme londonien qui nous rend fou). Privilégier le bus (plus proche de l’hôtel et très bien desservi) au métro un peu trop loin pour moi (8 min à pied).

Week-end Londonien très agréable
L’hôtel est idéalement placé, pas trop près l'effervescence du centre-ville mais très bien desservie par les bus (arrêt à 1 minute) et le métro (à 5 minute). Après un début difficile alors que nous avions réservés pour une suite, nous avons été logés dans une « suite exécutive » très vieillotte (années 80), avec très peu d’éclairage, pas de chauffage à l’exception de deux petits radiateurs mobiles et tout aussi vieillots, pas d’armoires ni de meubles à tiroirs pour ranger nos affaires mais juste une minuscule penderie ouverte dans l’entrée et une microscopique salle de bain de 2 ou 3 m². Après réclamation auprès de la réception nous avons été relogés sans aucunes difficultés dans une suite conforme à nos attentes et notre réservation. Une suite spacieuse et bien éclairée avec un coin salon, une belle chambre et une salle de bain digne de ce nom. Je remercie la réception qui a fait son travail correctement. Une erreur est acceptable si elle est prise en compte et corrigée par l’hôtel. Ce qui a été le cas pour le Danubius. Le reste des prestations était conforme à nos attentes. Le personnel est à l’écoute, disponible et très agréable. Le petit déjeuner est très « British » et de bonne qualité. Le restaurant bien que très petit sert une cuisine savoureuse et de bonne qualité. Le bar est très agréable et sert de très bons encas à prix raisonnables pour Londres. Bref un hôtel avec un bon rapport qualité prix (par à la taille des chambres) pour un week-end Londonien.

Petite chambre avec vue sur les rails. Petite salle de bains. Lits confortables mais sans tête de lit, ce qui personnellement me gêne. Pas toujours très aimable à la réception voire sec. Un parking très cher et limité à 12h00 et ensuite très cher par heure supplémentaire. Conciergerie très sympa. Résumé : pas vraiment 4*. Par contre relativement bien situé, même si à 10 min à pieds du premier métro.

Our original room was in a noisy and unrestored portion of the hotel. Flight cruise came and went at all hours and maintenance was being done without any notification early in the morning. They moved us to another room after much to do because multiple issues in our first room, including nonworking Air-conditioning . The television system was antiquated and never did work in our second room. It was obviously did not cater to guests that booked through Expedia. The housekeeping staff were very good.

The hotel was ideally located for easy access to The Hospital of St Johns and St Elizabeth, atound 10mn walk. Very friendly front office staff, the concierge was great breakfast staff welcoming,easy parking, the room was immaculate if not dated. Great breakfast option. Thank you.

We got the deluxe family room which has two twin beds and one king. Our room was very big with two closets as well and on a corner so felt like two spaces bathroom. We had booked through Expedia and pay at hotel and our booking was cancelled before we arrived but hotel honored everything in the end.

Great hotel, spacious, clean and comfortable. Posher inside than out. Shame it wasn’t quite as close to a tube station as needed but that was on us for not checking beforehand.

The staff at reception were wonderful from the moment we arrived and thereafter, so friendly and helpful. The room was so comfortable and spotless. The area had all the amenities one could need and in a great location for transit. We would absolutely stay again, it was exactly what we were hoping for.

The staff were lovely and the room was clean and well furnished. I wouldn’t choose to stay at this hotel ever again though because of the poor soundproofing which led to lack of sleep for the duration of our stay. We were kept awake by our neighbour’s telephone conversations every night from midnight till 1 and 2AM followed by some loud TV watching. I did mention this to reception after the first night but not sure if anything was done about it.
