Stylish Retro Home in Covent Garden

Summary:

Welcome to our home on Floral Street in Covent Garden! It’s always been a dream of ours to have a flat on this picturesque street in central London, and we are happy to share the experience with you. We’ve done our best to honour elements of the buildings original design in the 80’s, by incorporating retro touches and bright playful colours. While it is a one bedroom with a king size bed, we also have a king-size sofa bed also available for children by prior arrangement.



The Space:

The flat has character and everything you need for an enjoyable stay in London.



The living and dining room includes:

· Dining table and chairs

· Spacious sofa that turns into a king size bed

· Large TV

· Record Player

· Dyson fan which blows hot and cold air, as well as having a HEPA air filter for air purification



The separate bedroom includes:

· A comfortable king bed

· Fresh hotel-quality linen and towels

· Generous built-in storage

· A desk and chair for working or getting ready

· Soft lighting and blackout curtains

· Hairdryer and straighteners

· Retro DAB radio

· Crib for baby



The compact retro kitchen is fully equipped for anything from morning coffee to dinner at home, with:

· Oven and gas hob

· Integrated dishwasher

· Washing machine

· Fridge

· Nespresso coffee machine and milk frother

· Kettle and toaster

· Cookware, crockery and essential utensils



The bathroom is equipped with a full sized bath and overhead shower.



The building also benefits from a concierge, offering an added sense of welcome and security during your stay.



Guest Access:

Guests will have private use of the entire one-bedroom flat during their stay.

As this is a private home, you may find a few personal touches and belongings around the property. We believe that is part of its charm and gives the flat a warmer, more authentic feel than a conventional holiday apartment.

The communal entrance and building are shared with other residents, and the building has a concierge.



The Neighborhood:

It is difficult to imagine a better location for exploring London.



The flat is on Floral Street in the very heart of Covent Garden, surrounded by some of the capital’s best restaurants, cafés, theatres, shops and cultural attractions. Step outside and you are moments from the historic Covent Garden Piazza and Market Building, where street performers, independent boutiques and open-air dining create one of London’s most memorable atmospheres.



The Royal Opera House—home of world-class opera and ballet—is practically on the doorstep. The Theatre Royal Drury Lane, the Lyceum and many more celebrated West End theatres are also within easy walking distance, making the flat an ideal choice for a theatre break.



Seven Dials, Neal’s Yard and Soho are all close by. Wander through atmospheric streets filled with coffee shops, wine bars, traditional pubs, destination restaurants and independent stores. Chinatown, Leicester Square and Trafalgar Square are also easily reached on foot.



For dining, you will be spoilt for choice—from relaxed neighbourhood cafés and pre-theatre favourites to some of London’s most acclaimed restaurants. Whether your perfect evening involves opera and champagne, dinner in Soho, a West End musical or simply watching the performers in the Piazza, it is all wonderfully close.



Despite being surrounded by so much, the flat offers the pleasure of returning to a comfortable, characterful home at the end of the day.



Getting Around:

Covent Garden is one of the most walkable parts of London, and many of the city’s major sights can be reached without using public transport.



Covent Garden Underground station is nearby and is served by the Piccadilly line, providing convenient connections across central London and towards Heathrow Airport.



Leicester Square, Holborn, Tottenham Court Road and Charing Cross stations are also within walking distance, offering access to several additional Underground and National Rail routes.



Taxis, buses and bicycle-hire points are readily available throughout the neighbourhood, but for many guests the best way to experience this part of London is simply to step outside and explore on foot.



Other Things to Note:

• This is our own home, not a purpose-built serviced apartment.

• The flat is ideal for a solo guest, couple or family .

• The sofa bed is intended for children under 16 and must be requested before arrival so that bedding can be arranged. An additional fee will be charged

• Please treat our home and neighbours with care and respect.

• Parties, events and unregistered guests are not permitted.

• Please do not wear heals in the flat to minimise noise to residents below

• There is a doorbell camera that will record guests arriving and leaving

• There are noise and smoke sensors in the flat

• The primary guest must be in attendance for the duration of the stay

• The minimum age of the primary guest is 21 years old

• For all bookings of 15 days or longer, we will arrange a mid stay clean every 2 weeks including fresh towels and linen. The cost for this will be charged seperately and is £75 per clean
