It was a cozy & wonderful stay. Ada was amazing on communicating with us anything we needed. This spot is literally steps away from Venice beach and touching Ocean Front Walk. Place was clean, and we had no issues entering and parking is 1 block down, a short walk.

Great property and location, direct access to boardwalk/beach areas, and very responsive hosts. Highly recommend if you’re looking to stay in this area to explore Venice Beach/Santa Monica, and Malibu!

Great location close to the beach

Ada is a wonderful host she checked in with me often to see how everything was going. There were plenty of towels and the bikes were a big plus. I have rented many apartments in the area and found she was very attentive to my needs. I highly recommend staying in one of her rentals.Greg

This is one of the old buildings that sit right on the boardwalk in Venice Beach. It is a back apartment but when you go out the door and turn towards the beach you are on the boardwalk in about five seconds!! The listing said it might be a little noisy and there were lots of people coming and going between the buildings but it was not bad and we knew this when we rented it. We would stay again.

3 weeks in paradise

Totally enjoyed my Venice Beach experience.The unit was spacious, comfortable and well supplied also in a perfect location. Although it was very clean, it is in need of a bit of TLC. I would stay here again.

Great weekend getaway on Venice Beach!

We had a great time exploring LA, Venice Beach and the Santa Monica area. The host, Ada, was a great communicator and provided detailed instructions on the location of the apartment and parking spot. The apartment was clean and had what we needed for our trip. The location can be a little loud since there is a small road next door, but you can’t beat the location right on the beach and next to the boardwalk! We really enjoyed exploring and this spot was close to a lot of neat locations. Love that we got to use the bikes (big perk!) and beach towels! Thank you!

Great little apartment steps away from the beach. Best points: location, bikes with locks to use, and dedicated parking close by. Being close to the action, it was a little noisy, but we were out and about most of the time during our stay. We didn't travel with our dog this time, but appreciated that it was a dog friendly space. Communication was great and prompt. Would definitely stay again.

A little disappointing...

I have to first say that this apartment is a unicorn because it is in a building right on the boardwalk, has 2 beds, 2 bikes, AND has a parking space. VERY hard to find anything that will give you all of that. And CLEAN. Now on to the negatives:1) BIKES: Huge disappoint with the bikes. The main reasons I booked this place was for the bikes and parking spot. One of the bike's handle bars were not fully bolted to the ring that ultimately steers the front tire and was literally duct-taped on. It was barely usable. My 17-year-old daughter was unable to ride it - the front tire wobbled too much. NOTE: I was told that the bike will be replaced soon. 2) APARTMENT INTERIOR: The apartment is a bit old and musty. The photos in the listing make it look remodeled and fresh but it is not. The listing states it is in a historical building so just keep that in mind.3) NOISE: I hate to complain about the noise from the alley since the listing is up front about this but as someone who is a heavy sleeper and not normally bothered by outside noise - it was a problem. The apartment is along the back alley and all kinds of big trucks start rambling down around 6:45am and the bedroom window is RIGHT next to it. And the walls really are crazy thin.4) WINDOWS: The apartment is in the back of the building and all of the windows open up to a small pay-to-park parking lot next door. We felt we couldn't open the blinds because we didn't want the parking attendants staring in.

3 days at the Venice Beach

Basic one bedroom apartment, sunny in the morning, with a view of a valet parking lot, in the back of an apartment building that faces the ocean. Nice kitchen and good shower. Forty five seconds out the door and you are on the beach walk next to the beach. Beautiful walks in both the north and south direction.

Good location, place needs lots of work.

Pics on listing are not the same as what property looks like now. We were left used soap bars, dirty bathroom, dirty shower and very old/outdated beds and bedding. The place overall needs work, the blinds are falling apart, the sewer stinks, the water backs up in the sink and tub. Unable to use common areas. Host was communicative and gave great instructions to check ourselves in, but the place was just not what I would want my family to experience again. I could have gone to the pier and gotten something for the same price, but my mistake on wanting to try something new. The host allowed an extra person to stay, but it wasnt free/not a favor, I paid extra and that was what any hotel would have done too, except for the extra and paid price we experienced an old and dirty stay. I will not use this type of stay again, I will stick to my known hotels where I get what I paid for and expect.

In the thick of Venice Beach

I found the humble ground floor apartment right smack on the promenade, to be clean comfortable and certainly prime location in the midst of vibrant and entertaining Venice Beach. 2 rooms, 2 beds, Nicely appointed with standards plus a beach cruiser bicycle, tidy, kitchen. we would stay there again and bathroom.

Great location

This property was as expected. It is simple and clean. It’s all about the location which is steps away from the beach. We were able spend our days biking and skating just like we wanted. The fact that this place has an off site parking spot is important because parking in the area is expensive. The host was very responsive when we had questions. The area is loud because it’s right on the boardwalk so make sure you bring ear plugs for sleeping. It is definitely on the quieter side but there’s lots of beach traffic. We wanted the proximity to the beach so we’re fine with it. Loved having the use of the two bikes that the property comes with. If you want to feel like a local, this is the place to be.

Not for me

I was asked not to use the main entrance because short term rentals were frowned upon there. The general look and feel of the place was like a low-end college apartment. It was very close to Venice beach. So if that’s what you care about, you may like it. It was unsuitable for me. I left the morning after I checked in, and found somewhere else to stay for the remaining 6 days of my trip.

Wonderful location

I had the best time staying at this property. The apartment was nice and clean. Good size too! Big bed, huge living room , nice kitchen with everything you need. So nice that it comes with 2 bikes to use on the lovely bike path that is right near the apartment. The beach was so close! All you do is walk out the door, turn the corner and boom! Beach right there. I spent 2 days exploring Venice and Santa Monica and has a blast. It was nice to be so close to everything that I didn’t have to worry about driving or ubering. The host was lovely, she was easy to communicate with. Check in was so simple. I would definitely stay there again! I miss it already

Perfect!

This was the perfect weekend getaway for my daughter and I. Perfect Beach location and there are two bikes!! Even better there is a coveted FREE parking spot just a few blocks away. The unit is very basic and a bit noisy, but we were well informed on this by the listing and the very communicative owner. We brought good ear plugs and used the White noise apps on our phones. Worked like a charm. Owner was available quickly by text and responded to our questions within minutes.

L’annonce était claire mais j’ai tout de même été surprise. L’appartement a ses fenêtres qui donnent sur un parking géré par des voituriers et ouverts 24/24. C’est donc bruyant. Les stores ne sont pas en bon état et laisse passer de lumière Pour autant, Marnie a été très réactive et serviable (mauvais code pour la boîte à clé). Nous étions en plein Venice beach, et l’appartement a tous les équipements nécessaires pour être autonome des l’arrivée. Si l’appartement est vieillot, il est toutefois très propre.
