Hôtel très mignon proposant un bon petit buffet pour le petit déjeuner. Les chambres sont calmes et spacieuses. Un peu loin du centre de Los Angeles, surtout à cause des embouteillages aux abords de la ville a toute heure de la journée. On peut mettre facilement 1h en voiture.

Were not able to check in until after checkin time! Room had food on the floor under a desk on arrival to room. Check in person “Jack”I believe hie name was, seemed overwhelmed. He Offered us a $36 food and beverage credit which was not put on our account. So now have to wait to see if its credited after check out!

We were initially overcharged the stated price by $300 (we got it corrected). The card room door opener and the electronic door opener kept invalidating each other. Had to get this corrected 4 times before they both worked. Water was marked as free to Hilton Honors members. At checkout, we were told we had to be charged because we weren't a high enough level of Hilton Honors. Regular Hilton Honors had always been enough in the past at other Hilton owned hotels. Staff didn't know in what room the conference was being held. Evening staff were more helpful. Hotel food options limited. Some rooms noisy.

WE BOOKED A KING SIZE ROOM WE PAID FOR A KING SIZE ROOM . UPON ARRIVAL WE WERE TOLD THERE WERE NOTHING BUT TWO QUEEN BEDS; RECEPTIONIST WAS NOT EVEN APOLOGETIC NOR SEEMED TO CARE. WE ARE HERE OFTEN; SERVICE IS SIMPLY NON EXISTANT HERE!!! LAST TIME THE SMART TV WAS NOT WORKING. LATELY WHEN ITS NOT ONE THING IS ANOTHER AS AN ISSUE AT THIS PROPERTY. DONT BE FULLED BY RATINGS.! BED ARE OLD AND SQUICKEY! NO SERVICE AT ALL TO ME THATS THE WORSE PART.

The pictures on line made this property look spectacular and it stated there was a marina view. I was so excited to get to the hotel, sit by the pool and have a drink while I looked at the view. But upon arrival, I was sorely disappointed. There's only a view of a building that says marina. Also, I could hear the guest above me every time they walked around the room. For the amount I paid I truly feel like I got ripped off.

The front desk person, a black young woman was not friendly. She sternly mentioned that check in is at 3PM We were checking in at 2 45PM. I will not stay in a place where front desk person is unfriendly,

Quick Getaway
We’ve been staying here since at least 1985 when it was The Sunrise Best Western. It’s changed hands a couple times since then. We always enjoy the view and the close proximity to the pier and The Cheesecake Factory, which is walking distance right across the street. Just like everything else things change. They added a bar which is very nice and doubles as their Cafe to order food. Parking used to be free, then $11, $15 now $24 per night. Our stay was a little noisy but it was a holiday weekend, families, kids, a reception, another wedding party coming and going. But overall a good atmosphere and plenty of activities within walking distance.

Nice hotel near our destination
The hotel was very nice. Close to where our family gathered for a memorial service. Nice to be right off the water. Not worth the Marina view since it is mostly of the road, parking lot across the street with a bit of the marina, but other than that, the stay was good. The beds were great!

Location is very good. Hottub did not work, pool was not heated very well, carpets in hotel smell. No continental breakfast, the store in the hotel doesn't accept cash ( cards only) The safe in the room had no power.
