Great Area But the Unit Was a Letdown
The location is excellent and the surrounding area, pool, and neighbors were all very enjoyable. Unfortunately, the unit we stayed in did not match the listing and had several problems that made our stay uncomfortable.The photos and description appear to be of a different unit than the one we were given, which was disappointing. While the host was responsive to messages, none of the major issues were resolved during our stay.Some of the key issues we experienced:1) Only one assigned parking spot was available, even though two were confirmed. The second “spot” was actually just public street parking.2) A very strong mildew smell in the master bedroom spread through the unit and made it difficult to sleep.3) The AC in the double bedroom didn’t work, and the broken blinds let in too much light.4) The floors were extremely dirty—our feet and socks were black after walking around for a short time. It clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly.5) The dryer didn’t work. It produced heat but didn’t spin, so our clothes stayed wet. This wasn’t addressed until our last night, making it useless.The area itself is great, but this unit needs serious cleaning, repairs, and an updated listing.
