I really wanted to like this place, but our stay in Louisville ended up being a string of frustrations that shouldn’t happen at this price point.First, the check-in instructions were vague and didn’t clearly explain where we were supposed to go. After a long travel day, wandering around trying to find the actual unit was not the welcome we expected. When we finally got inside, the apartment had a strange odor that hit us right away. It also wasn’t cleaned well. There was a half-full glass of water sitting in the microwave, clearly left from someone trying to steam clean it. The key card itself was snapped and in two pieces, and the beds didn’t have the right number of pillows for the number of guests the listing claims it can accommodate. Several faucets were loose enough that it felt like the basic maintenance had been ignored.The worst part happened on our first night. We got back around 2 AM, in freezing temperatures, and the key card wouldn’t work on the building. We were locked out with no way to get into the building. We contacted the host who could not immediately help- we stood outside in the low 30s for a long time before someone already staying in the building finally let us in. That should never happen.Overall, this stay was more stressful than anything. A few of these issues on their own might have been manageable, but the combination made the experience really disappointing. The only positive was the central location. I would not rent this property again
