A casa é espetacular, a localização fantástica.

Long stay rental

We loved the sheltered garden and could eat outside most days. High speed broadband was installed a few days after we arrived. Area nice and quiet over the winter which we loved. House was very cold. We bought a lot of timber for the fire and it had little effect. Fans in the fireplace do not work. Lot of soot in the chimney. Reverse air conditioning did not work in bedrooms and bathroom and engineers had to come to fix, the response time was disappointing and the heater in the downstairs bathroom could only be turned on manually. [over the door ]. Luckily my husband is over 6 feet and could reach the heater. Similarly hot water became tepid in the house and response time was poor. Cooking equipment and dishes were poor for a long term rental. Dishwasher and clothes dryer did not work.

Disappointed

When we booked the listing stated ‘non over looked’, well this turned out to be untrue. We arrived to building works right next door to the villa. Not only were we overlooked by the builders but the noise they made drove us out of the villa some days. At no point we’re we told about this or given an opportunity to change. I contacted the management company about this and other issues but they decided to ignore my complaint with regards to this. They did sort out some other minor issues very quickly. We Feel we were miss sold our holiday. The pool was also in a bad state With many missing tiles and a broken cover to the filter at the bottom of the pool. My husband, who swims a lot, came out of the pool with a very sharp tile imbedded in his hand on one occasion leaving a very deep cut. They management company did respond to this complaint very quickly and we were given one free night. Overall we were disappointed with our 4 week stay here. It could be a really nice villa, needs updating, mattress on the beds were very hard and the walls need either a lick of paint or a good scrub in places.
