Anniversary Getaway

Had a wonderful anniversary get away with my wife. Super quiet and relaxing location. The deck is awesome. Memorable fine dining found nearby at Patowmack farm. The cottage is connected to the main house, but we found that it did not bother us at all.

Relaxing country stay

Perfect for the weekend getaway we were looking for! Beautiful guest home that was very clean and was well stocked with anything we might need. Only one issue was there were lots of stink bugs in the house but I imagine in the winter that would be more of a problem then in the warmer months.

Not what I was expecting!

Listing was not correct, stated owner lived near by, this rental is attached to owners house! When standing in the kitchen you could hear their dogs scratching in the laundry room door that was on the other side of kitchen. Also heard them bark a few times. Roads to the house and the driveway to the house were very rough!

Cottage with owner in "adjoining" unit

Family reunion to get 3 sisters together. My Mother-in-Law is 90 and we drove to VA so she can visit with her 88 and 80 year old sisters. We did have an issue wtih the 2 statements below provided in an email on 9Sept2024, which is after the window for cancelation. The homeowner isn't just next door, they are adjoining, which isn't clear in the description. It is also not shown in the pictures. We expected quiet time for morning coffee outdoors, instead we were able to hear the homeowner on calls in their screened in porch. There isn't enough privacy when out on the back porch area. The 3 steps to enter the cottage needs a rail on at least one side. My mother-in-law wasn't able to balance and walk up alone. Statements below received 9Sept2024: - The homeowner lives next door, in a completely separate unit, and may be present during your stay - 3 small steps required for home access

Beautiful Tennessee Cabin

This was such a nice place to stay while in Virginia visiting family! The area is full of antiques, wineries, breweries and gorgeous scenery. The cabin itself is on a pretty piece of property with a well-kept large lawn and attached to the main house, though it felt very private and we never heard the occupants. It was very comfortable and clean. Keep in mind most places in the this rural area are on some kind of gravel road. Expect to wash your car:) I will definitely book this one again!

Cousin's weekend

Wonderful weekend away for my sister and our cousin. The three of us had an amazing weekend of shopping in Lucketts and great meals in Lovettesville. The cottage was beautifully decorated and spotless. We enjoyed our downtime there.... relaxing, playing cards, and reminiscing. Thank you so much.

Great Stay in Lovettsville

We very much enjoyed the property and the surrounding area. It would be very helpful to know at the description if smoking is allowed outside at least or strictly prohibited anywhere on the property. Going outside off the property in the very dark area was inconvenient.

Peaceful quiet VRBO

This property was a great place to relax in a peaceful quiet setting. It was very clean. The kitchen had everything to prepare a meal. Easy access to Harper’s Ferry and Louden County wineries. An enjoyable 3 night stay for each of us.

Wedding weekend

We were there for my son's wedding. The scenery was magnificent! The home was immaculate and all of the amenities were provided. The owners were effortless to communicate with. Only downside is I have a small car and the road to the property is rough. I would definitely stay again!

Wonderful get away!

My husband and I spent 4 days here celebrating our 30th anniversary! It was so lovely and peaceful! The hosts were wonderful and we enjoyed many of the local wineries. The house has everything you need and more! We hope to come back again!

We had a perfect girls' weekend at this cottage in the countryside of Norther Virginia. It was at the top of my list in places that I have stayed- had all the amenities to make an easy and carefree weekend away.

PEACEFUL & COMFY COUNTRY COTTAGE

We stayed in November and were thrilled with the cleanliness, quiet nights and comfy accommodations. Perfect for a great night's sleep. The shower had all the products needed. For a one-bedroom, 2-bath home, it felt very roomy. Three adults stayed overnight easily and we had a dinner/game night for seven of us. Mornings were perfect with SEVERAL deer in the side and backyard that didn't mind photographs. The drip coffee maker and coffee were supplied. Very well stocked kitchen for cooking. Loved the gas stove. Being from Florida and temps dropping into the low 30s, the cottage stayed warm and toasty the three days we were there. The owners are right next door, but you would never know it. They let us have our privacy, but it was comforting to know they were close by for any needs. If we're ever in the area again, we would definitely stay here again. Absolutely perfect!

Cozy cottage in the hills.

Very quiet location with a nice deck overlooking a big back yard. We almost always saw deer in the yard. The perfect location for our stay while in town for a wedding. The place was charming and very clean with comfortable beds. Had everything we needed.

Everything you need for a week away!

This property was clean and had everything you needed for a week away from home. The accommodations were cozy and comfortable. It is close to a lot of activites like Harper's Ferry, River Riders, and Charles Town. The property manager was attentive and fixed an error we made quickly. The only inconvenience was that the wifi did not work well.
