I stayed here 2 nights for the Texas Tech homecoming football game weekend. Of course the prices were inflated due to it being homecoming, so I paid $220/nt. This property is definitely not worth that price, but all hotels raise their prices for popular game weekends, unfortunately. Positive: the hotel is only a few minutes from Texas Tech, but it's across the highway, so not close enough to walk to campus. Negatives: The room was not very well lit, the floors/baseboards weren't the cleanest, and a towel was stained. There seems to be a shortage of staff at this hotel. Trash stayed piled up by the ice maker on my floor for 2 days, the elevator only worked the first day, and when I requested more towels I had to wait because they were being washed.
Overall, would I stay here again? Unlikely.
