We had a fantastic weekend at this beautiful lakeside home. Itâs the perfect mix of rustic charm and modern comfort - clean, well-appointed, and comfortable. The lake views are stunning, and the space was ideal for our family to relax, reconnect, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in northern Vermont!
My family had a great week at this wonderful lake cottage. We enjoyed paddle boarding and kayaking and morning coffee on the decks. The hosts were great at communicating and providing great suggestions for food and activities in the area.
Great property on the water with many included amenities. Good options for all weather conditions with kayaks, canoes, fishing outside, and video/board games and puzzles inside. Enough space for everyone!
Let me start by saying what a lovley home with a lovley feel and vibe. It was a true pleasure to call this home away from home for a few days. Comfy and very welcoming and we truly had a wonderful experience.
Beautiful, well-appointed multi-level home. Great views of near and distant mountains. Very comfortable beds. TVs in every room. Large decks on two levels and side decks. We were there to see the ice go out in late mid-April. Plenty of kayaks, paddle boards, games, air hockey, etc. Very quiet and great for star gazing on a clear night.
The house is bright and inviting, it provided us with more than enough space for our weekend away with our adult children and dog. The lake was peaceful and we were able to walk out on it. I only wish I had brought a pair of cross country skis! The host was very responsive with our concerns. A couple of drawbacks, the water pressure is very low, although we knew that the water was sourced from the lake, and therefore probably not much can be done about it, if we had known we could have planned better. Also the space is very open, even though you use both levels, the sound of everything makes it feel like youâre in the same room. Finally, the kitchen was only stocked with the basics for cooking in terms of pots and pans. We had to get a little creative, but got the job done. Overall a great stay.
We spent the Columbus Day weekend with family on Neal Pond. We visited Santaâs Village, just a 30 minute ride from the house. We also enjoyed visiting downtown Lancasterâs shops and restaurants (20 minutes away). We enjoyed kayaking, sunsets, and wildlife at the pond. The hosts left a Halloween goody basket upon our arrival! A nice treat. Communication with the hosts was smooth and everything was just as described. We hope to visit again soon!
We gathered with extended family for a long weekend. The house was great and everyone had a great time swimming, paddle boarding, and relaxing.
The host was responsive and even text us before our stay to let us know they were taking care of a possible issue and followed up to ensure we had no issues while on site.
The home is beautifully located on a serene lake in a very rural area, yet it is not too far to go into Lancaster, NH for groceries or a meal out .
We enjoyed the large deck which is shaded for much of the day and the paddle boards and kayaks
The kitchen is fabulous and well-equipped
We had an amazing trip with friends and our kids, the house was perfect, and the kids loved fishing from the dock and using the provided paddle boards in the lake, would stay again
"The pond is a magical place" said one of our daughters midway through our stay. My wife was born and raised in the area and spent her summers on the pond while growing up. Our two daughters, now in their thirties and scattered around the county have been visiting all of their lives, although it had been a few years since they had been back. We gathered for a special family event and the Lake House helped to make the weekend even more perfect. The location is ideal and the house provided everything we needed, and more. The girls paddled the provided kayaks down to the secret cove (if I said where it is it would not be a secret anymore), we grilled on the large gas grill located on the deck, played some games, and just spent time enjoying the view. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms were clean and first class. Communications with Savanah were fast and clear. We are very happy that we chose this location and can, without hesitation highly recommend it.
My family and I had a great vacation here! Great location close to Littleton and not far from the White Mountains. The house is nestled in a quiet neighborhood on a serene pond, which was perfect for fishing, kayaking, and paddle boarding (kayaks and paddle boards were provided). We also enjoyed sitting by the fire with beautiful views of the mountains. There were several decks and a long dock to enjoy the views.
The house itself was very spacious (plenty of space for 6 adults) and had stunning details throughout. This was one of the only rentals we could find with FOUR private bedrooms with Queen-sized beds! Each bedroom had a smart tv and ceiling fan which was a bonus. The common spaces had games and comfy couches to lounge on. The kitchen was so fun to cook in and had all of the appliances, cutlery, and dishes we needed for family dinners. The hosts also provided plenty of fresh drinking water, firewood, bathroom amenities, sâmores and other goodies. No detail was spared!
The host was transparent in letting us know that some parts of the house were still under construction, which didnât bother us at all.
Our stay was very memorable and we already canât wait to go back!
