„Good location in beautiful scenery not far from some walks. On a main road but it was completely silent at night. Suite was lovely and bigger than expected, with beautiful views, and a very modern bathroom with a fab shower. The bed did have a weird slope to it though which put our feet higher than our heads! Food in the pub at dinner time was expensive and average, although breakfast was plentiful and good quality. Enjoyed our stay very much. “

„I really enjoyed my one night stay at Y Pengwern. The bar was friendly when we checked in, and when I was shown my room was amazed at how big it was. I was backpacking and there was plenty of room to reorganise my kit, and the bed was large and very comfortable. „The hotel is nice for a short stay however could do with a few upgrades but generally well maintained. When we arrived we had a very warm welcome and throughout the stay our 2 dogs were made to feel relaxed and happy. The shower in the room was so small you struggled to move about and the shower gel provided even though smelt lovely was obviously watered down. „The accommodation had been double booked but they still went above and beyond to find a resolution and we did in fact stay at this lovely property. Our room was immaculate, the bathroom was stunning with the most amazing bath and shower! The food at their restaurant was “to die for”. It just melted in the mouth and service was excellent. We really enjoyed the beer garden and chatting to some of the local people, who met us with warm welcoming smiles. Would definitely stay here again!!“
