Unfortunately we were not impressed with our stay in the unit. The state of the apartment was quite poor - Room smelt of mould / musky for the last 5 days we had to go purchase room air fresheners to help combat this. The carpet felt like it had been flooded previously & overall the unit did not feel clean or hygienic.
On arrival key after key collection the key did not work on the room door, however opened the room next to it? I tried contacting Airtrip twice using the contact number supplied with no answer - after sometime we were able to get reception at oaks to recode the key.
We were unaware that the apartment was not serviced during the 6 night stay, when required we were unable to request new towels.
I have also had additional funds held from my credit card that was not communicated, when I enquired the reply was accounts will look into it - I have not had a reply since.
We do travel to Mackay often, unfortunately we cannot recommend this stay.
