« Beautiful views. Condos were great to stay with family. Love the kitchen. I was able to cook all meals for my family of 4. Jet tubs were dirty so I cleaned it but still felt uneasy taking a bath. Aesthetic of it was nice though. I also loved the options of different activities for adults and family. »

« Great location in Orange County Va farm land very close to many attractions and with in reach to Charlottesville for a day trip via country road route 20 ( no traffic lights). The cottage is an outbuilding on the Bloomingdale Farm property that is surround by working farms. The view from the porch is peaceful and relaxing with the Blue Ridge off in the distance. The cottage is rustic with old wide plank pine floors that creek with every step. The first floor sitting room has a large working wood...

« Easy check in and check out process. If you like the country and mountains this is the place. Conveniently located down the street from the gas station a small store/ restaurant and not a far drive from the Shenandoah National Park. The reason we chose this place is because it is dog friendly and near the Shenandoah mountains. We visited the mountains for some day hikes. The house is nicely kept and spacious with a big yard. »

« We had a wonderful time with family and friends at this property. This home was spotless and was equipped with all necessities. The kids had plenty of activities to keep them occupied (arcade games, fuseball table, basketball, ect..). Everyone also enjoyed the hotub. We also spent some time at the waterpark which was a short distance from this property. Overall, a great weekend getaway and we highly recommend this property and apprectiate the opportunity to spend time in this home :) »

« As always the cabin was clean, comfortable and welcoming. Secluded and the only noise heard was the song birds. The hot tub was perfect and the fire pit was great when it was too rainy for the hot tub. See you again in the fall. »

« Very clean updated place for a family gathering. Kitchen was extra great with all you need to cook up some dinners. Plenty of beds and baths to give everyone some privacy. The wrap around porch was awesome with nice sturdy chairs for everyone It was also great for the kids to run and play and view the woods and deer. All over outstanding place!!! »

« We loved staying in this beautiful house! The layout is perfect for entertaining. We had a great time eating, playing pool, playing cards, and just celebrating our son's graduation from JMU. We also had fun participating in the activities at the resort...go-karts, bumper cars, the zip-line, mini golf, fishing at the lakes, and the scenic chair lift! There was something for everyone! »

« The house is in a perfect location to visit the main attractions. Even the house is old, the kitchen and bathrooms were remodeled and the upper house was very clean. The house has a ping pong table in the basement but we didn't use it because the basement was very dirty. »

« My fiancé and I stayed at the house for one night during a trip to Shenandoah, and the location was very convenient and close to the park. We chose this rental because of the stream running by, and we loved having a fire down by the water. Overall the rental was exactly what we were looking for - cute, cozy, and a nice escape! Our one complaint is that the shower had a strong sulfur smell when running the hot water. »

« We absolutely loved our stay. But yes we did have 3 older people in their 70s and the stairs were many but we were able to rearrange baths and other activities based on floor level. »

« Secluded location though a short drive to Shenandoah Natl Park. Fronts on a creek with relaxing sounds of moving water. The bed was comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was great; the furniture downstairs could use an upgrade. Large kitchen area with everything we needed. A nice place to escape for a few days. »

« Wonderful family togetherness in a beautiful log castle. My sons cooked wonderful meals, kids loved the outdoor space and the perfect tree-house. The home was the most impressive we have ever stayed in. The views of the mountains were majestic. The kitchen is huge. We loved having two dishwashers. There are so many bedrooms, so much space and interesting things to do. We loved it. »
